Sold my bhni allotment today at issue price.
In net charges loss around 300

I have decided to hold on for some time..

As I was not sure ended up applying in each one of them 😛

Max amount in Trust Fintech, followed by Aspire and few retails in others.
Could have applied more in Trust but seems like allotment will be on 2nd April which might be a problem with further rotations.

Waise Atmastco shot up 12% today. These price movements are totally bonkers - best to not look at the screen for a couple of months.

So now 265 will be huge resistance. Better to exit now and re-enter above 290 with 280 as Stoploss.

Was busy in BNF CE boom. Missed to buy at pre-open. Good to see such kinda listing. Some sort of lucky to be not allotted here. ATB to those who bought at pre-open.

Today I completed 7 years (third attempt)
In Indian stock market, started with dmart and journey goes on and on.
Seen many rise and fall in this journey.
Doing only IPOs and never been in secondary market (except for TCS where I bought 176 at an average of 3780 for BB2022 and seen 2900 level and didn't panicking,still holding 92 after BB2023)

Some takeaways for the benefit of group

Got handful of allotments in highly oversubscribed IPOs, 90% of them sold in good/great profits

Some IPOs sold in gray before listings , now I don't sell in gray as my risk capacity increased

I took away my initial investment in first year and now I play with profits only.

Keep holding some 2x-5x IPOs with selling some parts of investment and holding remaining free

Some IPOs where alloted but listing against anticipation , I remain invested, gave some time, never avarage and rewarded great profits (expl. Irfc,SBI card, UTI amc, shalby hospitals APL micro)now I am hoping none of them

Earlier I took decision based on GMP but now it's irrelevant for me

Took some imotional decisions and regretted but afterall I am human

Some IPOs are relatively overpriced but ultimately gave fair chance to exit

I never put stoploss now,bcos I applied where I believe

You can't be 100% right,you make mistakes and learn

Seen many corrections including 2020

Ultimately market is supereme,you earn when luck favour and loss if you are unlucky (I bought page industries 5 sh at 345 and sold @ 315 in 2007)

Never borrowed money for IPOs and don't advice so.

Used only disposal unused funds

Believe in INDIA

Overall these are greatest 7 years of my life as I failed 2 times before (1992&2007)

This post becomes more special considering the time it was posted, small and micro cap starting to take a hit. Market participants especially who joined after covid must learn from the history or the history repeats.

Investors like me also who might be your contemporary in market but have not that patience as you have would learn too.
Though , on the contrary, I had handsome profits in 1992 as well as 2007-8, may be 'cas of faster exit before collapse.
But still I believe in longer run one should have patience , which after retirement I am trying to learn a bit 😃

HDFC Bank gears up to bring 2024's biggest IPO

Babaji ki sada hi jay.. post listing dhamaka macha diya

This is a pure example of GMP for the investors. Today's disappointing listing for the investors who always sell on pre listing. Earlier the highest GMP was 31% and on the day of listing there was no GMP. Crash of GMP.after closing of subscription. Listing at again more than 13% loss. This month seems to be very dramatic. Even today positive than negative and again positive. What to do ? For good script long term no problem.
I thank my LUCK that my allotment was 0/3 in sHNI. I think none of the members have prayed for any allotment. Highly subscribed IPO with 13% loss on listing, never thought of.

There are many opportunity open in existing stock, due to correction. Not going for any new IPO share.

For every sellers there are buyers too,
But if block deals happens and strong hands are taking positions it's good for longer term prospective

Holding 1 retail allotment , didn't sold anything in this blood bath and in RK SWAMI too I will not exit w/o handsome profit as I believe in INDIAN GROWTH STORY

Retail and employees including HNIs are only 25-26% and bcos panicking market conditions it may trade in discount for some time

These are my personal views and not advice

@harit people are losing capital as well as handsome profit due to inaction at right time...you will have to wait for next 1/2 yrs to reach at present cmp.

Market is under extreme pressure. Till such scenario continues, it is very important to apply in IPOs with reasonable valuations in addition to fundamentals (although it is always very difficult to control ourselves in such euphoria).
Swamy ji has good fundamentals but stretched valuations.

Book your profit now if available...it may be available at much lower price...below ipo price if downward action continues in sme for this week.

I think there should be a rule ipo listing cannot be below the ipo price.
