Sebi receives complaint vs Quick Heal ahead of listing
MUMBAI: A city-based investor of software provider Quick Heal Technologies, which raised Rs 451 crore through its initial public offer recently, has complained to the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) that the company did not disclose its entire shareholding details. Quick Heal will list on the bourses on Thursday.
Manohar Malani, in a written complaint, told Sebi that he along with his family members had been allotted 20,000 share of Quick Heal in the year 2000, which, after several bonus issues, translates into a huge stake in the company in its current form. But the same information has not been disclosed. Malani has alleged that Quick Heal has not even shown Malanis as shareholders of the company.
Sanjay Katkar, managing director of Quick Heal told ET that there was no truth in the complaint. "The documents on the basis of which the complaint has been filed are forged," Katkar said.
Malani said he has obtained several documents from the registrar of companies in Pune to support his claim.
