It looks like after 2-3 successful issues, "retail frenzy" is started for IPOs.... and many are applying from all family members accounts and all...... This is not a great issue, however, one can make money in shorter time.. this is not a portfolio stock.... discl: applied for one lot..
PL GUIDE ME I HAVE LKP FINANCE LIMITED SHARE AT THE PRICE OF 85.00 CMP IS 87.60 IN BSE SITE THIS MESSAGE SHOWS: LKP Finance Ltd has informed BSE that the Company has fixed July 07, 2016 as the Record Date for the purpose of allotment of Equity Shares of LKP Securities Limited to the Shareholders of the Company in terms of Composite Scheme of Arrangement between the Company and LKP Securities Limited, duly approved by Hon''''''''''''''''ble High Court of Bombay.
WAT I SHOULD I DO HOLD OR SELL? PL EXPLAIN THE MEANING OF SPIN-OFF? IS IT POSITIVE SIGN OR NEGATIVE SIGN?............
Do not worry. Its just a simple demerger taking place. LKP Finance would be split into LKP Finance and LKP Securities. Transferee Company(LKP Security) will issue and allot to each member of the Transferor Company(LKP Finance) equity shares in the Transferee Company(LKP Securities) in the ratio of 6 (Six) equity shares of the face value of Rs. 2/- (Rupees Two) each (credited as fully paid-up) of the Transferee Company(LKP Securities) for every 1 (one) equity share of the face value of Rs. 10/- (Rupees Ten) each (credited as fully paid-up) held by such member in the Transferor Company(LKP Finance) as on the record date which is 07 Jul 2016. Its a big positive hence no need to worry.
Experts say that when issue gets over subscribed there are high chances of people who applied for one lot have advantage. Somehow i don''t understand this logic. Some people who have applied for seven lots have got 3 lots and who applied one lot has not got anything. Applying for only one lot really works? i don''t think so.When I applied for syngene 3 lots from my account i got one and from my friends account i applied one lot got nothing. Can anyone please enlighten me if you think otherwise
There is nothing like people who have applied for 1 lot have higher chances of getting allotment. Someone who has applied for 1 lot has equal chance of getting allotment vis-a-vis someone who has applied for 3/4/5 lots. According to the new SEBI rule, if the IPO gets oversubscribed in number of applications term, by lottery applicants will be identified and each one will get exactly 1 lot. As such, even if u apply for 5 lots, u can only get max 1 lot. So, if the IPO gets oversubscribed in number of applications term, apply for 1 lot only and save the remaining money from getting blocked (if u had applied for 3/4/5 lots). This is the reason experts mention to apply for only 1 lot if the IPO gets oversubscribed in number of applications term. Hope it helps.
If that is the case how come people who have applied7 lots are getting 3 lots? technically as you explained they should get only one right? or they lying they got 3 lots?
If Retail is about to oversubscribe almost 40 times then chances of getting allotment is less than 2.5%. It looks big gambling as money will be blocked for almost 8 days. Probability and cost adjusted return is less than 1%.
I have already applied in HNI and now it looks heavily over subscribed...Can i cancel by bid in HDFC ASBA and reapply under retail which is below 2 lakhs?
Applied IPO through online SBI ASBA and Lien Amount hold by SBI. Can anyone tell me "How many days bank will take to release lien amount for unsuccessful application" ? will bank release lien automatically ?
I have an account with SBI and have applied in the last 3-4 IPO''s . I have been unlucky, as I did not get any allotment. But, from my experience TILL NOW, I find the amount is released within one day of the allotment status is released. In fact, I had applied in Quess from the funds released from MGL IPO. This is FYI.
Check on NSE and BSE websites . https://www.nseindia.com/products/content/equities/ipos/ipo_current_quess.htm http://www.bseindia.com/markets/publicIssues/BSEDemandSchedule_new.aspx?Scripcode=1204
I have Rs. 200000 for one application. But I have two accounts (me and my wife). Do you think there would be a difference in applying one application worth 200000 or two applications worth 100000.

Since the issue is over subscribed in multiple times, it will not make any difference whether you apply for 45 shares or more in Retail category.
Hence, it would be most appropriate to apply for 45 shares each, in two applications, so that the chances of allotment would be better.comparing to single application.
1 lot each in 2 applications will be best option.Hurry you can submit application online before 2 only

Make two applications of ONE LOT each.
When the issue gets oversubscribed i.e ONE LOT X Number of applications exceeds the total available shares for Retailers, then all the applications would be treated as an applications for single lot.
Hence, even if you apply for more Lots, your applications would be treated as Single Lot applications and the excess amount would simply blocked..
