PSB Issue was closed on16th and allotment process is not completed yet till 28th Dec 10. All the Investors put together lose about Rs 7.85 Crs per each calendar day towards Interest at a moderate 12 % p.a. as per following working:

(a) Issue size for PSB: Rs 480 Crs.
(b) Total Subscription: 50.75 times
(c) Over-subscription: 49.75 times
(d) Amount blocked from circulation {(a) x (c)}: Rs 23880 Crs
(e) Interest at 12 % p.a. per day: {(d) x 12/100 x 1/365}: Rs 7.85 Crs

Can’t the Registrar organize carrying out the processing on Saturdays and Sundays also by incurring just few lakhs of rupees for additional staff or over-time.

SEBI has already done lot of harm to retail investors by doubling the maximum amount for IPO application to Rs 2.00 lacs. Let SEBI atleast help the Investors by reducing the lead time for processing

Allotment of 50 shares Rs.5,700/- received through Kotak ASBA against full application. Blocked amount released by Kotak Bank.
