It is advisable to skip the PTC IPO in this turbulent period. Even the pricing of 27 a piece is stiff and not sustainable. The stock is offered at a whopping PE of 37. We have examples of such IPo's in the past viz NHPC, SJVN hence it is better advised to stay away. The business model is good but it is the initial stage of the Company with negligible business, the fair price is less than Rs.20.

Instead, we may focus on two unique IPO's during the current month provided the market conditions do not deteriorate significabntly due to Japan catastrophe. One is Micromax Informatics, the mobile behemoth which is expected to hit on 21st with 2.15 cr shares at pice band of Rs. 187-217 to garner Rs. 450 cr.

Second one is Muthoot Finance, the gold loan provider from Kerala. The Company may come out with 5.15 cr shares IPO by 28th to garner Rs. 900 cr at indicative price band of Rs. 175-190.

Booming of Fineotex and Sudar leads to heavy subscription in Lovable. Those who didnt apply in Fineo & Sudar and wil not get any allotment in lovable will be greedy to apply to PTC India and will be stucked again.

SBI bonds in D'mat can be sold just like shares. SBI bond prices will change every second. Just order to sell through your broker & the bonds will be sold at that price point. Brokerage & other levies will be charged by the broker.

Dear Sreedhar Sir,

A humble request? Wow. Although humility isnt one of your strong points, your humble or not, request is denied. Sir I can't match you in terms of market knowledge. I instead focus on something I'm reasonably good at :)
I'm honored having branded by you as your basher. By the way why did you waste your time and effort by copying and pasting my past msgs. Check your response to my first post. As far as you are concerned, you had already made up your mind by then. But your actions are justified. You also told me, "these people know me and who Im" or something to that effect. After all you have to make sure they keep knowing you and who you are na!
It is so funny, you preach others about the dark side of the markets. And you yourself can get into all sort of eerie and creepy grey market stuff. Stuff that you yourself admitted, made you lose money. But you have a problem when others, even legally, earn from so-called shady IPOs.
Kya sir, chill na! :)

Dear Natarajan Sir,

Check this out ...
"People like simpleton may have 2 much cash in hand to bear such swings ie bear 20 rs loss in 5 seconds." -
Come on sir, let me also have some fun at his cost. He is himself enjoying publicly ridiculing me :)
I have done exactly what Mr Sreedhar Sir does so often, i.e. pass judgements on others.

Thanks and regards for you Sir!

Oh I mistook that Mr.Simpleton is actually praising Sreedhar. There are many instances such as BSTranscomm,Bedmutha,Sea TV,Tirupati Inks etc etc which creates so much hype ofcourse by the operators and then the fate of those are well known.

I would only recollect an incident when BS Transcomm was listed, I happened to overhear a man on road (by the look and talk I was sure he did not even have his basics in share market) ordering for purchase of those shares thru cell phone.I only thought that the trap laid by the operators catches so many innocent people who think earning thru stock market is so easy.

Or the only other way is to be as smart as an operator to earn from those companies.

Friends,

Tomorrow is the last date for paying advance income tax (if tax is more than Rs.10,000). My auditor has said that the same can be paid upto 31st March.

Pay in time and save penal charges.

GEM

The best would be a hybrid of the two.

Have FD. Avail OD facility and negotiate OD interest at 1% over the FD (SBI allows this and my bank City Union Bank has agreed to consider reduction from 2% to 1%) and finally apply thru ASBA by transfering from OD to savings account to earn interest at 3.5%.

The effective cost would be FD interest of 9.25% + 1% minus 3.5% earned thru savings account in ASBA. So 7% is the cost and the FD interest earned is separate.

I think this the best option to save maximum amount.

it appears to be costly but i think it is still worthwhile to wait for market conditions and qib subscription before taking the final call.

It seems Chittorgarh site is not following Indian Standard time. It is following some other time. People who post messages, note the time appearing in the posts.
