Dear Golmaal, Please post an email to this address saying you want to withdraw the application giving your ASBA application no.-- einward.ris@karvy.com
Friends, I have stopped my cheque, better to leave this outside the off stump instead of poking at it.We may get an edge & it may go for 4 but the risk of getting out is more.
Alpha @ 325:Here are the 5 obvious reasons why PTC Fin will be a poor listing :-
i)A highly aggressively priced-IPO with P/E of 35 approx ii) A greenfield venture promoted by GOI's ill-managed brats like PTC, NHPC etc etc ... iii)Operating in an overcrowded field of activity - financing of so-called infra projects iv)A poor IPO-response & lack of investor interest in the company v)World markets in shambles and sentiments at a low and expected to remain so with Japan, Libya, Crude, daily scandals & what not ....it seems you have applied for the IPO in a big way. Sorry!
I have been reading your comments on chittorgarh and I must admit that your analysis is very effective. I have applied in PTC india but till now I haven't formulated an exit strategy for the listing day i.e. in case listing takes place in discount then at what point I should exit or if it results in premium then at what point I should book it. In case you have applied for PTC what will you do on listing day?
Dear Friends, PTC looks like there will be an interesting listing as HNI Subscription is very less.its a 55-45 situation in favor of retail investors.SBI bond premium it looks like has crossed 21000-23000 for 5 lakh application.

Friends- Dont be panic in cancelling/withdrawing yr application. QIB specially banks, foreign institutions and mutual funds have shown their interest and in case the price falls on the listing day, they will be the major buyer and we will get some listing gain and since NII subscribed less- we will for dure get allotment- (personal opinion). I am not going to withdraw my application.
for those of u , who want to cancel apps., write in a piece of paper everything starting from name, amt, bid, bank etc and sign at the bottom and then fax it to +91 40 2342 0814 with subject as withdrawal of application.

GANE ,JI YES I CAN CANCEL BUT THIS I HAVE TO WRITE AND POST AT KARVY AND 250 SHARES IN EACH FAMILY ACCOUNT IS NOT BIG AMOUNT FOR ME ALSO LOSS WILL BE MINIMUM NOT LIKE OMKAR THIS THE FIRST IPO IN THIS 2010-2011 I HAVE LOST RS 1300 IN EACH FAMILY ACCOUNT
One great thing about PFS is HNI subscription is very less. They are the party spoilers & they have major contribution in a share's fall.So their threat is gone. The retail who have applied are daredevils & may not easily blink. So there may be an interesting listing on the cards.
