@Wolf hunter@Manan Surana P/E re -rating and revaluation done on the basis of the performance done by the company, which is not stellar, plus that fund is taking a partial hit and not a complete hit and exiting around 16% of its initial investment at losses. Apart from taking this in negative aspects, one other way to look at this is that the IPO price comes at some what reduced valuation and if future performances are to improve, that can be seen as a benefit. On the contrary if the case was otherwise it could have easily been priced north of Rs 1000.
This investment is going to be Boring 20% CAGR investment
I had read its P&L , Balance Sheet , CFS And ..
One thing is noticed that there financials are not On Balanced / Systematic Manner Many Inconsistencies were observed
Like Increase in Employee Benefit Expences which were around 75cr for last 3-4 years , Went to 130 cr in FY23 And See It's Q1 24 : 39 cr So FY24 approx. 150 cr which is almost more than double from previous year
It's PAT of Q1 24 Is 32 cr So it would be around 130 cr In FY24 considering A Slug H2 and Strong Q2
Let's come to Valuation metrics FY 23 : 29.9
FY 24 : Expected PAT - 130 cr PE : 24.6
Valuations are OK , never Expensive
Investors like Us would just apply here for 20% listing gains and then Go away and never come again
But Mutual Funds and Foreign Pension Scheme Houses like such Businesses and they would try Grabbing this
I am Personally thinking to apply for around 20% quick bucks and Hold for some more time so that weak hands are removed and MF'S grab it and it moves like a Low liquidity stock giving some good upside
I would Exit this one above 1050
Ideal suggestion would be applying just for listing gains or Could switch to ASK I know the valuations are expensive but Yes , It will grow and Justify in Coming Quarters
But In Protean , Very Low hopes for atleast till FY24 end
@newgen consultancy Thanks Sir for in depth & clear cut view. Not related to this page but still asking your suggestion on Transteel, whether to hold or sell. Please help 🙏

Protean is a technology contributor to ONDC. Whether anyone from CG members used/using ONDC platform ?? How much succesfull is ONDC ?? Whether Protean will be a boring dividend paying company ??
My two cents, which inany likelihood is common knowledge There are many pieces in the digital infra of India which ultimately will be under one umbrella digital public infrastructure (DPI), also called India Stack...as any piece of this stack gains traction like UPI etc other will also benefit from the upsale and upscale .. These technologies will find their ways in other countries too and opportunities are how u wish to see them. One can see value in Nykaa, Zomato etc and write off LIC , Petronet etc... From the narrative that how can a map company compete with free Google map @1000 (proven wrong at lower value since share slides) to such companies are the future @2000 (as it moves up) .. same story for Suzlon/Cochin shipyard/reliance etc wait for years decades, market will justify any logic
With regards to ONDC it's initial phase, but yes it's quite revolutionary, comparing on basis of present day market, likes of swiggy , zomato if they haven't cooked up their losses ( artifical losses) then competing with ONDC would be quite tricky for them
Ondc is operating yellow cabs in kolkata right now rates are quite cheaper then offered by uber and Ola though initial demand is less but yes when price mechanism works fully it may dent other operators

Anchor portion was saved/subscribed mainly by partly Offloading Investors SBI, Bank of Baroda, LIC through Mutual funds route. Now QIB portion too so far DII/Mutual funds 30 lakhs vs FII's 22 lakh shares subscribed. It appears that mainly this ipo is supported/saved by Offloading domestic investors only via/indirectly by their own fund routes. Seems no one is excited about this issue. Saving grace is Promoter holding will be about 85% post-issue.
sir post issue promoters holding 85%??? can u please explain
which promoters (mostly mf as promoters) will stay after issue?nd how much?
if u bifurcate % (post issue promoters holding)then it will be great help🙏🙏🙏
