Branch people sometimes do not know of these things..

If you have an Ac with ICICI bank, log in to their internet banking, open Money Multiplier FD(flexi/sweep in) and simply start applying for IPOs..

Your FD does not break whe applying for IPO, but, if you get an allotment and do not have sufficient balance in savings Ac then only FD breaks..
So, simply top up savings Ac with enough funds so that FD does not break...

Given the IPO pricings and valuations these days
Most listed companies should delist and then come out with an IPO at 5-10X valuations after six months.....

These comments are really funny coming from top members of the financial community. In 3 days the company will list, and in all likelihood actively trade at 2x+ of issue price meaning promoters have actually left way too much money on the table. This is the exact opposite of what Mr Sandip Sabharwal is saying 🤷‍♂️

Nobody knows how this one or any issue is going to play out.
But these are the kind of people who scared and scarred the sentiment in Ola and even Vodafone OFS type opportunities.

Didn't knew that this loophole also exists. Selling shares after filing of rhp.
Dont have a problem with stake sale , but it shld have been done ethically and hope so allotees have lockin.
Ps- i have retail applications here, so at less risk.

There will always be some good things happening around the companies and some not so good. But timings of release of such negative news appears to be with unknown motives. Remember there were negative news spread in counters like Nova Agri Tech, Ola and now this one too. 🤔🤔

I agree with u @Sharvam 43 at past one year and at upper price 1000% and if listed double then 2225% gains. By this they are fooling us.

​@Chhote Lal I agree sometimes with the IPO news flow increases and some minor negative news arises. But in this case this looks to be a serious corporate governance lapse plus it is unfair to applicants like us in terms of allotment as this is not disclosed.

Money life is it a popular and reliable website ??? If yes , then this is serious issue ... hope it's a fake news ...

Shares might be sold as per SEBI guidlines to have particular holding before IPO
who will sell shares at Rs 450 when the grey market premium is rs 400 ie total price at listing may be Rs 850 .
i donot find any issue if sold at rs 450 even though they might have aqiured at lower rate .

The news is indeed true, they sent an addendum to RHP to exchanges but for some reason it was not accessible to public. The shares were not sold from the IPO blocks (which I feared) so no issue with allottment numbers. But if by any chance allotted, I would sell on day one. Here is a link to the addendum:

​@ROAR - If the recent stake sale news had to make any impact it would have shown in the QIB subscription.
A record QIB subscription indicates the news didn't really make much difference to the institutions.

If markets are good till listing, in all probability it may give more listing gains than Tata Tech.

All of this noise in the name of investor friendliness, especially portraying retail investor has no knowledge is more likely done to make sure retailers earn less and the big ones keep gathering money. The statements released are also supporting this.

The stake sale was within guidelines, was notified to exchanges. Does not necessarily mean notifying public in real time. The acquisition cost has been like that from start, and the sale was at Rs 450, equal to the upper price band. Nothing was taken from the IPO quota.

Timing could have been better for the sale when in and around SEBI issues SME guidelines, euphoria is at peak and retail participantion is high.

But still if anything would have been material, the subx would have taken a hit, which is not the case. @ROAR @GrayIsTheNewBlack @rohiitian
