I think everybody is confused now after seen allotment status, even i have not alloted shares. But by looking at quality of company interms of profitability, MNCs presence and good rating given by capital market if it will go in discount there is an excellent chance to buy it for sure.

To check status of Allotment one need to go to site of Registrar of the issue. In this case it was intime . Visit IPO status .One should be ready with Appln No. or PAN number and give input
Can anybody please explain how allotment is decided. RII = 2.0 times So If i applied for 320 shares (4 lots) then I should get 160 shares at minimum. But allotted only 80 shares.
Dear Keshar, I was also not clear until a friend in this forum clarified it.Actually the rule has changed. Now first priority is to allocate one lot to every applicant. If no of application is very high then its not possible to allocate one lot to everybody. So it will go to lottery. Here every body gets equal chance irrespective of the quantity applied. So always apply for 1 lot in case of over subscription. Hope it clears ur doubt.
Thanks for reply .Shall try to understand.. If shares are subscribed 2 times then number of application should lower( in this case 2 times shares qty / 80 application.) I am missing the catch it seems.
