just before investment, i tried to research about the said offer (Precision Metaliks IPO) and official homepage https://precision-metaliks.com
Digg little deeper and found few fishy things, domain in about 2 years old (900 days) and same promoted or owner having same business with another brand name Synergies Castings Limited all details can be found https://whois.domaintools.com/precision-metaliks.com
Synergies Castings Limited website https://synergies-castings.com found domain is 6,144 days old which was Created on 2005-03-28.
we can find Synergies Castings Ltd financial condition here https://www.tofler.in/synergies-castings-limited/company/U27310TG2005PLC045171
i like to seek expert opinion, its safe to apply such sme ipo?
From RHP "Our Company converts semifinished / raw wheels to finished wheels by carrying our value added services such as Polishing, Buffing, Testing and Packing for our major client, Synergies Castings Limited, Visakhapatnam. The Company is also planning to offer these services to the USA market through Silver MetalX INC, USA by way of supplying finished Alloy Wheels with accessories to cater to the aftermarket."
Also: "PML has been receiving repeat orders from its customer. Synergies Castings group is our single largest customer since FY 2019 for all our products and services. We have been receiving annual purchase orders from our customer and we supply them throughout the year as per their requirements."
It seems Synergies is a proper set company, its website also has proper address, factory photos and financial etc. It seems to be doing the bulk of the work when it comes to alloy wheel manufacturing.
PML seems to be just a wrapper company around Synergies which is doing some finishing touches, polishing and packing etc.
The address that PML have given also doesnt look good. Its has office set in residential flats :)
It`s a NSE IPO. I think the experts have done this research before you did. Moreover a lot of companies do use "residential addresses" as their "Mailing address" after the GST was introduced. Have a look at their balance sheets submitted to NSE & SEBI, that will clear your doubts. Moreover PML does the manufacturing part as mentioned in RHP, you can not lie to SEBI when it comes to a mainboard or SME IPO at NSE. Also "It was a trading company till 2018 and after that they have set up a manufacturing plant in SEZ, Andhra Pradesh." & after that the financials were admirable. >Precision Metaliks provides B2B services and works primarily on semi-finished alloy wheels. The finished products are sold under the brands of its clients. >Precision Metaliks operates in a capital-intensive industry which acts as an entry barrier, although there are a number of competitors domestically and internationally. Nevertheless, it has longstanding business relationships with its clients which is difficult to replicate. >Locha nahi hai, you are just a lil paranoid or someone has paid you up ig.

Shaktiman ji,
My 2 applications will go for it regardless of anyone says anything about it, didn't applied in AB Cotspin but won't miss PML.
SME is risky but who knows what a comp is upto.
See this below,, https://www.moneycontrol.com/news/business/markets/buy-non-ferrous-metals-for-medium-term-auto-banks-stocks-set-for-comeback-says-emkay-top-boss-7939351.html/amp

No need to go much deep in sme's , we can come out after profit booking on listing, no need to hold for longer if you are not convinced, simple. Companies growth/financials are good and subscriptions will also be good mostly.
I too am going to apply based on subscription figures. But I still hold Prevest Denpro for example as have some conviction in the company. So need to evaluate both from short term and long term perspective.

Agree with the reasoning and wise words of Lokes Sir. 🙏🙏
@IpoRetailer .. True, cant predict market condition 10 days in advance but given relatively low subscription and this being a SME with non stop upper / lower circuits.. stayed away for now. Yesterday US advised its diplomats to pull out of Ukraine.. that whole situation is getting worse every day.
@Lokes, Avenue . I have amount to apply for 8 lots. And in our family we have total 4 demat accounts with different pan. Your advice needed how to apply 1. One lot each in 4 different demat accounts. (RETAIL CAT.) Or 2. One lot each in 3 different demat accounts and 5 lots in hni category in 4 account.
I am not an expert bit I think allotment in retail category is too difficult. So I would suggest to apply 2 lots each from all your accounts. Expert may comment.

You can decide based on retail/HNI subscription tomorrow around 2-3pm. IF retail is crossing 15X etc and HNI is around 10-15X then better apply all 8 lots from 1 demat account in HNI only or else apply 3 retail lots from 3 demats and 1 HNI application of 5 lots from fourth demat, if retail category is around 10-12X. Its all about luck but still second option is more better (3 retail +1 HNI of 5 lots)
@Sunmoney... Predictions of SME subscription is pure guesswork and market too is in bleeding mode today. All this can effect subscription and you can see final figures @2:40 - 2:50 pm and decide to apply or not. If applying, I feel 3 retail application with 1 lot each and 1 HNI application with 5 lots will be best option.
it doesnt change by the number of days, it changes by the volume traded. for sme it's a diff process. First SME comes to mainboard then the circuit limit changes. A good example can be earum pharma (BSE)

@badluck: After 10 days of listing, circuit will change from 5% to 20% or 5% to 10%. For example, in ab cotspin, listing was on 11th Jan tuesday so on 25th Jan tuesday, circuit will change. In broker site or in nse/bse site, normally circuit prices can be seen one night before. I know this much only regarding this.
@Sangwan.... Please check at HDFC website. Because ICICI has different cutoff times for retail application in mainboard and SME IPOs, i,e, 4:30 pm for mainboard IPOs and 3:00 pm for SME IPOs.
Please confirm have u sold sme share through upstox
Actually I have discussed with customer care and informed me that we are not dealing in sme share

@badluck
I haven't sold but there is no issue in buying sme in upstoxx(recently i bought jonjua sme share )so i guess there won't be any issue in selling if they are allowing to buy.
@badluck :- I use upstox and there is no problem in buying/selling sme stocks. I have bought and sold. But don't know applying sme ipo as I never applied in upstox.

@avenue: i am going with precision sme in HNI, will apply on monday, no of lots. as per subscription....AGS may not give return on investment as compare to precision it may come and AGS will be more riskier bet.
@Suneel... Budget impact is too hyped and I feel it will not have a major effect on any listing especially for SME listing which in any case is very turbulent.
@Avenue, Agree with budget impact. Main point i want to convey is regarding volatility in secondary markets which will have impact on any stock.
Anyhow, we all know SME itself is risky and we will add some risk to the volatility due to budget. At the end, my plan is to have only one lot(which could be my first SME stock). Wasn't lucky in Nupur, Vivo, Timescan and overlooked AB Cotspin. For some reason, AB Cotspin is doing miracles.
After a long long time, I wish to apply for one lot in each of our two accounts. Warm welcome to the Advises/ suggestions from the seniors in this regard. Thank you.

@KSRK Sir you can go through noorul reply in this below thread. https://www.chittorgarh.com/ipo/ipo_discussions.asp?a=1211&c=490857&ap=0 Accordingly you can decide and apply 1 lot in retail on monday. Anyways allocation will be tough in retail , same like mainboard ipos. And monday you can check other comments to get more idea.
I think they should be if your bank is quick enough. I can comment on ICICI to be quick and have also heard Kotak too is quick is unblocking funds.

yes funds will be unblocked mostly for adani ipo....registrar bigshare don't delay more than 2pm on unblock day.....means by 2pm on 31st funds should be unblocked to use in adani ipo
@lokes, are you still holding AB Cost or sold it ? any plan ?

@dinesh: i am still holding it. Tuesday circuit limit will change in that. That day some big move may come , but on any side, lets hope it comes on +ve side :) After tuesday movement, i will decide about to sell or hold for future. Recent financials were great for that company and textile sector may have some +ve from budget etc, lets see how next quarter result comes, that will make a impact.
@lokes, great. i am also holding it and will wait for action on Tuesday.

@dinesh: circuit changed today as informed to 20% but stock not performing. yesterday also it moved down from upper circuit. Bad market has definitely had impact here. I am planning to hold it for longer until results will come. @arca: there is no news for result now, you can track here. https://www.nseindia.com/get-quotes/equity?symbol=ABCOTS
@ lokes thanks for the information. I placed order at upper price thinking it would hit upper circuit and i can sell today but it ain't moving either sides & demand seems to be there. Since you & mravi sir are holding ,even i am planning to hold till results atleast.after seeing that we will decide accordingly.
@lokes May be I am wrong But you should have waited atleast for the budget… In Last budget there was a reduction of custom duty on few material… I am having the share of AK SPINTEX- almost same industry and it is performing well as of now…
I am still holding it. Will wait for few more days.

@spock: i have heard 3pm cut off time in indusind bank absa. Never heard from anyone applying after 3pm in HNI via indusind bank. In Au small finance bank, i think third party ASBA is not applicable and in their site, it is mentioned that online ASBA also not available , only offline via branches is available, but i am not sure. Btw i don''t have account in indusind and au small finance. @snipperRaj: you applied yourself in indusind bank asba after 3pm in HNI or you heard from someone ?
In rhp it is generally mentioned after 3 pm hni is not allowed on last day. In au third party is not allowed but you can apply your own one app. through mo. App or online asba.
@ lokes, spock, i have indusind and i mostly apply asba retail through that. i have twice applied asba hni also through that. For both retail and HNI, my application was accepted around 3.20-3.30pm. It also allow 3rd party asba.
while on my icici direct, where i apply HNI usually, only revision is allowed post 3pm till 3.30pm but for SME, even revision is not allowed post 3pm.
@snipperRaj ji i have indusind account where i had already checked 3:30PM last day time for retail applications and its working, never try HNI application post 3PM.
few days back i heard from someone that even HNI can also apply upto 3:30PM on the last day from indusind netbankin, so wanted to confirm this. I think you are correct.

I have Indusind account which i use for HNI applications. I don't think they allow application after 3pm because i have tried modifying my application a few times after 3pm but it wasn't accepted. Therefore, never try HNI after 3pm. I had tried retail once after 3pm and it was accepted.....so try at your own risk.
Officially, cut off time for Indusind is 3pm which i have confirmed from the branch manager.
@lokes Can you help in understanding which category to select while applying in HNI quota through indusind account. I see below categories CO, FI, FII, IND, IC, MF, NOH , OTH in indusind. I understand IND is for for individual investor and not sure about HNI.
IND its same for retail and NHI application, your application will be differentiate in between Retail and NII as per your application bidding amount / lot details.
@Spock @NnipperRaj @MOG and other IndusInd Bank account holders... Can any one of you apply in HNI at 3:20pm in any IPO, may be @lower price band, just to confirm this much debated issue of cutoff time. Everytime when we are free from IPOs this issue is debated and discussed but never concluded. Even in this thread we see different opinions.
And to add to confusion, on some rare IPO occasion I also successfully applied with HNI application at 3:20 pm through ICICIDirect, inspite of HNI application cutoff time being 3 pm.
@Spock.. HNI cutoff in SME is definitely 3:00 pm in ICICI, and I will be surprised if IndusInd bank allows SME HNI application till 3:30 pm. I actually was asking to test mainboard HNI application after 3 pm.
Wherever you apply after 3 pm, please do update us with the result. Thanks
@avenue, @spock , all indusind users...i applied app of 2 lot size ( 2.70 lakhs) in DJML fpo in indusind at 3.17pm. It is accepted. Now 2 lot should be considered as HNI i believe.
@snipperRaj @Spock... Thanks for taking pains to apply after 3 pm in HNI. If Indusind is accepting SME HNI applications after 3 pm, it will most prabably accept mainboard IPOs HNI application also till 3:30... Best wishes for allotment and gain...
@Spock @lokes One question on shareholder quota in Indusind bank. I see below categories CO, FI, FII, IND, IC, MF, NOH , OTH in indusind. Like for Adani IPO under which category we should apply in shareholder quota..
Can i use one upi-id to apply in multiple demat accounts, like my parents demat account, instead of transferring the funds into their respective bank accounts???
I have tried it in mainline IPOs & it works, dont know whether it'll work in sme or not.
using google pay or phone pe you can have 4-3 UPI IDs for single bank account.
Like for example you can apply your application with @oksbi, your parent applications using @okhdfcbank, @okaxis, @okicici.
Using above way you can avoid single UPI ID for multiple applications.
But remember sometimes 3rd paty applications gets rejected it totally depends on registrar mood.

@Nishasondhiya : better to use from any bank asba which provides third party asba to apply for family demat accounts instead of using third party upi....but if third party asba not possible then you can use third party upi also, mostly it will be allowed....But in sme ipos, sometimes both upi and asba third party applications are rejected, it depends on registrar/ipo-company decision, like skyline financials registrar rejected third party ASBA in DMR ipo but accepted in nupur ipo.

@nurool, Should I apply in this ipo,r u applying? Would LM track record cause any disruption in listing price? Thanks
Sbipo.. sme ipo are always risky.. apply only if you are capable of bear some loss.. and as u informed few days back you are already had losses in last year .. so you need to b extra carefull.. Sme can go in any direction after listing.. usually they just pick one direction of either upper circuit or lower circuit.. so when in doubt about any sme.. or in case we don't gather enough confidence , we just apply a small quantity to get only one lot .. so if it prove to b bad one than also we don't occur so much loss in it.. currently I didn't loss a single penny in sme.. but yes i m very selective and will b very cautious in future too.. Talking about this one.. hni subscription isn't up to the mark of satisfaction yet.. but its usually gets fly on last day after 1 pm. I will apply if its manage to cross 10x atleast.. Some folks belive that Lm is somewhat responsible for listing gain or loss and future momentum of sme.. while some believe its completely up to market.. one of the fact no Lm has a 100% success record so its better to judge the script on its fundamentals , issue size and pricing factor..

@nurool, Thank u boss for nice explanation,BTW I'm surprised that u csn recall still that last year I incurred loss, actually, what can I do boss,I was always alloted the loss listed ipos even after so much cautiousness and analysis, like RTT
Question to Dilip Sir and remaining experts: 1. Will there be any Budget Implication on the listing of this SME IPO? 2. What kind of listing one can expect? 3. What is the GMP for this SME IPO?
Is there any subject 2 rate in Precision ? Subscription figure looks good on very First day. Almost more than 2 times. I am seeking an Expert's opinion.
