Dear Sir,
An NRI can buy/sell SME shares just like other shares listed at BSE and NSE.

SME shares listed at BSE SME and NSE Emerge platform are part of the 'SM' category. Some brokers may have restrictions for this category.

Stockbrokers like Zerodha and ProStocks allow trading in SME shares. We are not sure about Yes Securities.

The only thing different about stocks listed here is that they are traded in lots just like F&O.

You need a PIS account to buy and sell shares with are not attained in IPO.

You got these shares in IPO so you should be able to sell without a PIS account.

Is your trading account an NRE account or NRO account (in which you received the Precision allotment)?

No restrictions for NRI on SME IPO's same as main board, you can sell.

@Avenue: Even I am using ICICI, do you see allotted shared in IPO/Order book. If yes, please manually add the shares in your portfolio, SME IPO shares are not added automatically by system.

@MDinesh.. Thanks for your reply. But VIVO shares were added to my ICICI DMAT Allocation automatically. I know they are not added to portfolio automatically but must appear in DMAT allocation. I think once they appear in DMAT Allocation then you can add manually to your portfolio.
Anyway I was not selling it on listing. But good to know this issue so that now I will get a chance to explore the cause.

I explored more and found them in DMAT Allocation - Allotment subsection where I had to Submit the said quantity to allocate these 2000 shares to DMAT allocation. But when I click on Submit i says
PREME      110      0      110      Not enough stock to sell:Invalid ISIN code
something definitely wrong with ICICI site.

I did not have this issue with VIVO...

@Avenue I didn't face any issue so far while adding them manually, check if their support team can help you.

@MDinesh.. yes I am working on it and in touch with Customer Care. My worry is their support is pathetic. They are saying "It is a volume issue with this share"

And it is happening in my 2 ICICI account where I got allotment of Precision.

Got same message when tried to allocate.

@ashishk... My discussed problem is resolved now. I had sent them mails. You also check your DMAT allocation now. I think it was a technical glitch which now has been fixed for every Precision allote in ICICI.

1) You may complaint to your bank regarding non removal of lien.
2) Ask your broker if he can complain on your behalf to sponsor bank (practically they can - if they want to).

*As SMEs require large amount one should take into account these points while applying.

yes still pending sell volumes are huge.....hope LC will break tomorrow, looks like operator play here.

Brother,, when a stock hits a lower circuit, there will be only sellers and no buyers.
So, if someone wants to buy the stock, they can do so at the lower circuit.

I hope, You get the idea - what you and other wants to sell as of now, if it has no buyer then whom you will sell it. Exchange has put a limit on it to control the share movement. As buyers have been flushed out of the system.

this is much better company than omnipotent. Lower circuit will open after 1-2 more circuits means around 64 or 60 levels.

There are some differences between two:

1. Precision's P/B is 5 times better than that of Omni (0.56 vs 2.89, today's price).
2. Omni's IPO was 'avoid' as per Dilip Davda.
3. Promotor's equity post IPO was reduced to only 28 %. In Precision, it is 58%.
4. Omni's IPO proceeds were to be used for loan repayment, along with other objectives.

So, I think Precision will do better than Omni.

Just curious, How do you come up with the number that it may reverse from 60.
Is it just wild guess or based on demad-supply.
I see today supply is more (11,44,000 shares @67.77 and 12,70,000 overall shares) while traded volume is just 1,16,000.
I see huge supply.

Tomorrow, it will be again in LC at 67.70-3.35 i.e. Rs. 64.35. Considering today's volume i.e. 1,18,000, tomorrow volume should be around 3-4 L. So, one more LC is likely to be there at 64.35 - 3.20 = 61.15 on Friday. These two LCs should exhaust quite a number of sellers/buyers. On Monday/Tuesday, it should see some stability/upside.

Just my guess + estimates + hope.

@lokes @antarix At what levels one should book profit in it ? As You said I will wait till 60 but my question is when we can book our profit.

@NKJ: Guess is based on company financials, subscriptions, trade/pending volumes and expected listing price etc etc, overall its called as "Experience".
@TOUHEED: No-one can predict about exact share future movements so i cant say when to book profit....i will hold this share for some longer time, will not sell soon. you can book profit around 60-61 levels if circuit opens, if you want to be risk free.

@Touheed, level for booking profit is different for different people. I will hold for some time and for me, stop loss is 51 i.e. the issue price. As lokes has mentioned, you can exit at the first opportunity to be risk free.

yes @antarix said rightly....profit booking or holding is as per individual comfort/risk. And i will also keep stoploss of 51 here. Strangely here pending sell volumes are too high still today, above 10 lakh and traded volumes are very less as of now, so LC is very strong now....looks like it may go below 60 also then. Lets see and hope even if it hits LC on monday too, then it reverses that day at least. No idea why people are rushing to sell this. Still i am having hope it should do good in some months.

@ Dinesh Singh - If you want to put order at LC or UC , you need to put order @ 9:00:00 AM ,so that your order stands first in queue.

I am doing the same but it is not getting executed.
I have made a mistake for not selling the 2nd lot at pre open on listing day.
In future, I will correct my mistake.

Till LC open, our profit of 50000 will be gone.
Who will give back this profit.
I think we should have sold all shares.

@dinesh singh: we can put amo orders also or 9.00.00 but it all depends on broker when it is sending our order to exchanges, even 1 sec delay from 9.00.00 may put in long back in queue when there are other lakhs of orders. Big people might be using good broker service with direct line etc. etc. for these things.
And regarding selling in preopen and your 50k profit gone thing till LC open, no one will be knowing for sure how share will move after listing, but very few are there which went down in continuous LC like this one and vivo (not considering omnipotent since that was not considered good company and most of us didn't applied) but on other side, there are so many which went on UC after listing so if you think same way and sell in listing then how much profit gone there which could have been earned ? like nupur/timescan/ab cotspin/DMR/ and many older ones you know, still decision is individual's to sell/hold and till how long.

There was some glitch at ICICIDirect my 2 lots were credited to my account after listing. By the time I received these shares it has already hit LC. Now 3rd LC and I think LC will continue...
I know nothing will happen but just to trouble them and to put it in writing, I have sent many mails to ICICI asking for compensation and atleast make them admit their fault. But I know they will not.

@lokes, thanks for the reply. I am using HDFC Security and I placed order at 8.55 Am and they send it to exchange at 9.02 AM. Thats the reason for non execution.
Regarding sale on pre open, the demand was not great on pre open. We should have get hint for this.
Btw, let's hope the LC will open atleast above 51.

21 cr issue size is quite a big one for sme ipo.. thats why too much selling pressure and pending orders.. and subscription level specially in hni was very less.. most of applicants got more than 2 or 3 lots.. so those hni also want to sell those extra lots.
I guess circuit is not going to open untill price kisses 56 level. But I m not caring too much about Lc becaz the company sector and fundamentals are good. Price will get back on track ones profit booking is done. No one is going to sell in loss.. In initial dats sme moves in circuits... Same thing happened in vivo and nupur and many others..

Selling ur shares at strong LC is very difficult. Even a fraction on second matters. With so less demand and huge supply, even 1st seller may not able to sell fully if his amount is more.
Keep trying, maximum we can do is place order before 9:00 AM and then pray. All depends on broker there after.

How you manage to sold @ 71.25?

I put limit order for 71.25 @ 10.03 and it got executed at 3.15 , 3.19 and 3.28 Hrs yesterday.

Zerodha for this trade . I use Prostocks and Kotak Securities as well.

I am also using Zerodha, Thinking to create another demat with prostocks, how do you find their platform and services compare to Zerodha

I use Prostocks for my Minor account . The UI almost same as Zerodha .
