Karvy might work opposite in this IPO. As it is not wealth creating company, and as public is expecting fall in gmp, Karvy will try to allot firmly in this and if something goes wrong against them, they will put Prataap Snacks allotment in its counterpart.

Hospitality chain Lemon Tree Hotels has filed draft papers with markets regulator Sebi to float an initial public offering.

The public offer comprises sale of up to 195,797,000 equity shares by the existing shareholders, including Maplewood, Whispering Resorts, Palms International and RJ Corp, according to the draft red herring prospetus (DRHP).

The offer will constitute up to 24.90 per cent of the post-offer paid up equity share capital of the company.

Explaining the reasons behind the IPO, Lemon Tree Hotels said it aims to achieve the benefits of listing the equity shares on the stock exchanges.
"Our company expects that listing of the equity shares will enhance our visibility and brand image and provide liquidity to our shareholders. Listing will also provide a public market for the equity shares in India," it added.

Kotak Mahindra , Capital Company, CLSA India, J P Morgan India and YES Securities will mange the company''''s public issue. The equity shares are proposed to be listed on the BSE and the National Stock Exchange (NSE).

The company has 40 hotels with 4,300 rooms in 24 cities across the country.

Founded in 2002 by Patu Keswani, the company has hotels under four brands -- Lemon Tree Premier, which is an upscale brand; Lemon Tree Resorts, a leisure segment brand; Lemon Tree Hotels, a midscale brand and the economy brand Red Fox Hotels.

Shun this IPO... height of greed.. 200x PE.. who in their right minds would pay this much... teach the promoters a lesson.. your subscription is your vote.. have a backbone.. gmp can disappear before listing... be very cautious if you are planning to "invest"????????

Moreover it''s registrar is Karvy.. so chances of not being allowed pretty high..

Does anyone knows what''s the reason for so less profit in F/Y 2016-17 compared to F/Y - 2015-16 ?

ITS in the name Diamond... brand name of snacks instead of company name.. pratap snacks..

As per My Opinion We can play Gamble on PRATAP IPO

If it list on 1100Rs then also Retail Invester who get allotment will get 2500Rs ,which will be More than 15%

i have 8 account in different pan numbers,every time i use to apply 8 lots,but this time i wont apply bcoz of karvyyyyyyy,before karvy i use get atleast 2 lot some time i will get 5 lots also,but after karvy came i not getting single lot also,i m sure they r playing some game...i dont know what to do?please do something.....

karvy ki kuch to galti hai...fraud hai wo....
from linktime i used to get most of the times 1 lot....but from karvy never got any allotment...
and so many people in capacite ipo forum mentioning the same....it can''t be just co-incidence or bad luck with ipo with so many peoples...it definitely some scam in case of oversubscribed ipo''s
