I want to invest in 10 year tenure and I would like to know if i should opt for Annual Payment or Quarterly Payment. Annual Payment gives better returns but what do you''ll think?

It depends on your cash flow needs. Quarterly is better after adjusting for income tax taking time value of money
Power grid invit how much should I invest. I am retired . Also is there TDS on the income distributed. Is the invit for a fixed maturity period. Expected returns- interest or dividend . How much
They have to distribute 90% income as dividend. also TDS is deducted on the amount distributed. Returns are more or less guaranteed. I am holding indigrid and it is giving me returns of around 10%. So buy it u will be not sorry.
They have not mentioned how much would be quarterly or semi-annual distribution. But, given Indigrid is currently giving 9+% yield, it should be at least equal to that I hope. If you are getting 8% or less on your fixed deposits, Invits are better option..
Comparison of IndiGrid Vs Powergrid Invit 1. Indigrid InVit Total CKM = 7570 ckm of transmission lines and 11 sub stations (13550 MVA) Powergrid Invit CKM = 3698 ckm of transmission lines with 3 sub stations (6630 MVA) 2. Market cap of Indigrid as on date Approx INR 9000 cr (post rights listing @ INR129 on NSE) Expected MCap of Powergrid Invit if it raises around INR 7500 cr from market and PGCIL retains 26% ownesrhip = Approx INR 10000 Cr 3. Present Indigrid Yield @ INR 12.4 per year DPU = 12.4 / 129= 9.6%....... Likely to go up with latest acquisition and lowering of cost of overall debt. Indigrid has raised capital through Rights Issue @INR 1300 CRs approx and is also raising debt of INR 1000 crs via Public NCDs @ around 7.5 to 8.5 % interest . The debt instruments are AAA rated, which indicates IndiGrid’s strength as a Invit. PowerGrid Invit will be worth investing if the yield is anywhere above 8.5 %. Else, it may be better to buy IndiGrid at current levels. Also, treat this investment as a type of Fixed Income investment with some minimal scope for appreciation as more assets get added to the INVIT.

Overrated. NAV is Rs 113 on Dec 31, 2020 and book value is 82 (assets at book value) . Rights money being deployed at wacc of 7.4 % . We will see NAV dilution and fall in cash flow per unit. Be careful
Management indicated 12.4 distribution will be maintained even after right issue. Infact newly acquired asset with right issue proceeds and ncds, is yield accretive.
Indigrid has clearly indicated minimum 12.4 distribution even after Rights issue for the foreseeable future, which is more likely at least 10 or more years. Previously their projections had clearly showed Rs12 distribution for next 10 years before recent acquisitions. So, I think still better.

There''s no Tax free dividends from last year budget, everything is taxed as per the tax bracket, you should know by now, it''s been a year. https://cleartax.in/s/how-dividends-taxable
In case we get allotment, and after 2 months the unit price becomes 1,500 can we sell entire lot of 1,100 shares in the share market ? Or once we get allotment whether we cannot sell to corner profits ?
Yes you can sell entire holding on listing day itself. But don''t expect the price to be 1500 against issue price of 100. This is a quasi debt instrument. You will hardly get upto 10% gain. Discount listing is also possible because issue size is extremely high.

Its sheer madness, highly oversubscribed now. I guess above 271 only will get allotment. But it is not a good price. Tomorrow it might fall to 272 level, so just 1rs profit. I place bid and cut off and 263. 263 i wont get. But from cutoff i might get 20% of bidded share that too at very high price. Not good OFS
Onething is for sure, without GRID electricity wont flow and you know what happens. This is ultra critical infrastructure of any country. You can deduce rest.
Nothing against SJVN, but scalability is a issue here, each project is costly and time consuming. On the other side, as long as govt in financial stress(that may be forever, lol), it will give good dividends. And heck, looking at Adani green all these green assets will be get a great appreciation going forward.

@rsk another dividend stock called NHPC has not crossed IPO price for ages. Stress govt has bought back share even at Rs 19 when IPO was done at Rs 36. Reading of interest rate is important as electricity rates have direct linkage to interest rate (cost of capital) In Invit cash flows are fixed. I am happily holding tax free bonds for 15 years at 7.8 percent issued 6 7 years ago when SBI is paying 1 year FD of 5.5% that too is taxable
ZOMATO is proposing an ipo of equity shares comprising of fresh issue of shares by Zomato and an offer for sale by info edge
Board of directors have considered and given the approval to the company to participate in the said OFS of upto such number of shares of Zomato as would aggregate upto Rs 7500 million terms and condition would be specified in DHRP
