For asba you don''t require to give cheques. It a facility where u can link your demat to your bank account & bid in the ipo. Amount get blocked for the amt of bid & only get debited in case of allotment.

KOTAK is involved in this issue. wherever KOTAk is involved, the returns for the investors are either negative or very marginal. This fact is to be considered while applying.
