most of us know how to check allotment status ...but if no one will answer or some people will get angry abt such questions then whats purpose of such forums....
also u should understand that such ques also serve purpose of first time investors....
besides we all are in our offices where it is not possible to open all sites...

people asking queries - are they really dont know where to look or are they making fool of others by asking them to provide all the information they need, without bothering to browse whats available.

It seems there are many impatient souls on this message board. Besides pleople don't even know the basics such as
- where to check the allotment status
- shares don't come to demat a/c on the day of allotment
- similarly, refund doesn't come on the day of allotment

If you guys don't have such basic knowledge, then why the hell are you investing in IPOs???

ANY BODY GOT REFUND ORDER OF POWER GRID. AND WHEN WILL BE LISTING?

Hi JP. The probability of allotment is 1:1.34. Out of every 1.34 applications one person is given 125 shares. This is for those who applied for 625 shares. Those who applied for more than 625 shares they are alloted with firm allotment of minimum lot.

Anybody can tell what is the basis for allotment who applied for 6 lots ( 125*6 share)?
