I have applied thro ICICIDIRECT and got 286 shares. I have my a/c in Chennai - Cenotoph road branch. Yet to receive my refund. As anybody in chennai received the same thro ICICIDIRECT.

I dont think the delay of refund of power grid is because of the reason you mentioned, today I got Kaveri Seeds refund in ICICI Bank Banglore... BTW, i have not recieved power grid refund in HDFC Bank Bangalore yet :-), you mean HDFC bank lines are also down in Bangalore? And for Kaveri Seeds refund, ICICI Bangalore is working... (I have DP account in both ICICI and HDFC Bangalore).... Its the problem with ECS of power grid only....

Refer msg 1995, understand ICICI network in Bangalore is down due to ongoing construction work of Metro Rail. It appears ICICI cables have been dug up, hence no transaction taking place. It is likely to be restored by Thursaday. You may expect refunds after this only.

hi khasim, go to demat allocation in icicidirect and click allocate. will see the 286 shares. will be active on lisyting.

Power Grid is likely to list on 08th Oct 2007. See bumper listing, like the way other power stocks are roaring currently. Expect 100% returns on the listing day. Lucky people have good time :)

I applied throught ICICDirect for 2 accounts (Myself name and my wife name) I got allotment of 286 shares each in both the account. I received refund in my account on Oct 1, 2007. But did not received refund till now for my wife account. My account is with ICICIDirect Gurgaon and my wife account is with ICICIDirect Bangalore branch.

Seems there is some delay in receiving the refund. And inbetween there was was a holiday too.

Positively we should get ther refund by tomorrow.And lisiting above 100%. See the maret how it is rouring.
