I have also Sharekhan account where DP ID number length is 8 character and clinet id length is 6 character. while in sbi ASBA, it will ask DP id number as 16 digit then how you will give 16 digit DP ID and client ID?

It will be good if you will give me details because currently my sharekhan account is linked to ICICI where there is no option for ASBA but i have SBI account also so i want apply from SBI using ASBA facility. currently i am trasferring my find to sharekhan and then i am applying.

why powergrid is goin down day by day??? is it is a right buy time??

Power Grid has been falling, whereas the market has been going up.
Will it be right to buy from the secondary market now? Or do you think the it will fall further till price announcement of FPO?
I do only deleivery based buying/ selling.

Can i apply for ASBA ( only online no paper work) through HDFC net banking options.

Very sad to see that the retail portion has been increased to 2 lac. Only HNI will benefit out of it. I feel it is mainly because of lot of follow-on issues to come and govt. wants to use the HNI people to subscirbe in the retail portion. Again it is proved that govt. authorites don't care for poor investors. Anyway its our country and our law-makers we have to follow what they do..

Microfinance companies will not be going kaput only they will be regulated & hence will not post those mind boggling profits & hence valuations will be adjusted accordingly.The centre is planning to impose a ceiling of 18 percent on the interest charged by MFIs on loans to SHGs.This was indicated by FM to andhra CM as per the Hindu report.In andhra at least MFI have lost all their goodwill.All I can is there are a lot of uncertainties now .
