I`ve 500 shares of powergrid @ 106 Rs.Should i sell it,and to wait for FPO allotment,and will if FPO price band will below Rs 90,then will it go to Rs 90.Please guide me.

Max Application fro Retail Investor is Rs 1 Lakh.
Price Band May Be fixed Rs 88 to Rs 95.
Would be announced Today Late Night or on Monday.

I think govt. should/would price it around Rs.85 for retail. However, after annoucement it would hover around the price for the QIB. Even then it is worth to apply in full. It would go the REC did. After the issue closes, it would touch Rs.100 around listing and thereafter Rs.110 in few days say 15 days. After that within 1 to 3 months it would touch 121 subject to the condition no major changes are there in domestic and world markets. I think on the basis of your requirment you can plan accordingly. Let's see how good is my assessment.

i had applied for 8 lots in gravita.....but seeing the huge subscription i did the " stop payment" of cheque....now ill use this money in powergrid ...
can anybody tell me what are the charges(if any) and no of times the " stop payment" of the cheque can be done so that no charges are levied???

Guys....why the price band setting is sooo m-uch late...would it come at the end time....I`ll only gonna apply at 85-90 maxm.Agar 100 par diya to bazzaar se hi khareed lenge naa...hahhahahhahhahha

85 ke upar apply nahi karne ka,
uske upar bilkul avoid

It shall be worth around an effective price of Rs.80-85. The announcement has to be done by tomorrow i.e. two days before opening of the issue.

sebi has not issued circular yet hence it is highly imposible to make limits upto 2 lacs for nse and bse as powergrid will submit it's offer with price decided on monday. If circular comes on monday also chance are quite low.

So good news for small investors, no 2 lacs for powergird, almost certain.

power grid will give returns.. not such as coal india but 20-25% returns expected

FPOs are very complicated insrumentt, so many things are to be examined.agreed
