One thing you should undertsand that the oversubscription figures are known at the end of the day, hence the effective price is known later, there is no gaurantee that HNI are sure to make profit, they too like retail base thier decsions on certain presumptions which may be correct or wrong, thier are many instances where HNI's have lost heavily eg NHPC, India Bulls Power etc. Smart HNIs have already hedged thier postions in F&O, this itself makes me feel that Powergrid may not fall much on its first trading day, I dont see the share falling below 95/- may trade betwwen 95 and 105, may not be a run away sucess like REC, but iam sure it will not be a disaster like NMDC
