Thanks for the information, but I would like to add a bit more..when using Firefox it asks for application No..but if u use IE it does not ask for appl no, unusual but true and it should work becoz i tried in another company IPO. Thanks again for the information..
@1125 You are driving me crazy . If you've taken any position based on ur calculation then cover it at 9.15 am tomorrow nahi to Coal India mein jitna kamaya hai wo sab jata dikhega.
EVERY tom dick and harry has shorted this stock in futures. Now with the retail figures out, ppl will get 1/4 of their applied quota of 1L nearly 270-300 stocks. In short for every lot (2000 stocks) shorted, one needs to apply for atleast 6 applications and I think most will be caught on the wrong side here. Expectations initially were of getting 700 stocks per app. This can trigger a huge short covering rally in this stock in the coming days as the smart guys (institutions who have applied in plenty) can force shorters to cover at higher prices so beware. SERIOUS money is always made by being on the opposite side of retail.
there seem to be different opinions on the quantum of allotment for someone who applied in the 1105 lot and in the upper band. Is there any calculation/formula readily available ?i applied using the SBI portal(first time applicant using online),please let me know if the ABSA provision in net banking is OK,even if I hold demat acct. with a different brokerage firm.
1118, Anil Bahl, First of all get your figures correct. Look at the numbers you give in different places to indicate the number of shares applied at cut off by the retail category. Why this confusion?
Retail at cut off is actually 967213260. Add to this price bids which are bid at 90. Then one can do the calculations, that too after knowing the employees quota bid at 90.
@1118. Mr. Anil, while making a calcutation you have not taken into account the bid made at BSE . Furthermore, price bid data can't always be ignored for some make a price bid equivalent to cut off price.
