At ICICI direct I am getting 2 stock codes for POWER GRID. I am asking those who are very sure that IPO and FPO will trade same.

Dear Boarders, M. Gupta @ 1454 is perfectly right. In an FPO, there is no separate ISIN and these shares are as good as existing ones and can be traded as soon as you get them in your DEMAT a/c. So don't worry at all .Happy trading!

hello panditji,
why are misleading about powergrid fpo listing, in money control site few days back it is clearly given that fpo will be listed on 26th only. each and every share has a distinct number and they should be noted to stock exchanges before trading. hence never take risk and sell only on 26th that too after once again confirming at moneycontrol/ipo site.

maximum are talking foolish here...

those who sold today need not worryyy...

they will get there share by tomoroww and at the most by the day after tomorrooww early morning...

so thse shares will not be auctioned...

there is no seperate ISIN numbet for these shares henece no blocking period will be there.

most of the persons talking these rubbish are half knowlwdgwd persons..

no need to woorry.. no need to wait for listing... 100% sure same isin and can sell any time from now.....

Karvy is slow like snail. They may take time. If it was link intime we would have used money in RPP. I expect karvy to update powergrid allotment by tonight and rarest chance being tomorrow reason being hdfc, axis and kotak banks have credited refund and debited shares into demat already. Since you are using broker you'll know only after karvy's update.

I have applied for 8 lots (520 shares). How many shares will be allocated for me ? can anyone telll me please
