boss i have 2 sbi accts and in total i applied for 3 full applications.... for 2 i got 296 shares each and the 3rd one i got 297....
wait for some time...sbi is doing its work... your acct will also get debited... they settle(debit the money) the accounts branchwise....
so just be a bit more patient!!!!!!!!!

guys good news.... after a long and impatient waiting for the ASBA applicants of SBI , SBI has finally debited the money pertaining to the allotment of powergrid FPO shares...my acct just got debited ...pl check urs.....

no allotment till now in dmat. amount debited for 8 applications through asba. where is the alloted shares ? any body help me....

I have applied by SBI ASBA but Amt. Rs.99450 unlocked but no allotment so can any one guide where I have to contact in AHMEDABAD

Got 296 shares on one full application thru icici direct. What is the right strategy? Hold or sell.

This is specifically for the SBI Management.

When other banks/institutions have realised the basis of allotment as per the Registrar's advice, the SBI is taking much time to finalise it. Who will be responsible if the people expends the lifted lien amount ?? The Bank (SBI) may be a premier bank in India, but it is in the last rank in dealing Shares/DP process?? At this juncture, I point out that in one of the Main Branch of the Cities, SBI asked the investors what is called ASBA?? They the working people getting more and more money as salaries for their work, even does not know about the ASBA ?? Only the top officials/branch know such facility available in the Bank.

Though the basis of allotment has not yet been published by the Registrar, let us wait for credit of shares/debit of amount, applied through SBI ASBA.

In future, the SBI should rectify or speed up their process and reduce the tension of small retail investors.

The people of SBI should learn from LKG in respect of Share dealing.

The members of this blog must come forward to light up the issue.

Talked to intime guys and they told there was some problem which is rectified and money is debited now. phew. Got 250 shares!!

So many illogical and unknowledged people apply in IPO. And than they blame luck/xyz/company for losses.

There has been some problem in debiting shares and crediting money which will be done soon. If you guys had any logic, 70% of bids come from ASBA and SBI is most used ASBA bank both online as well as form way. If there was some error basis of allotment would be different and those who got shares would be having extra shares of SBI users but since that is not the case and BOA is done at 3.72, it's obvious some mistake is there.

I remember same thing happened in Orient Green when SBI credited all money. I called up intime guys and they told process will take some time and you'll get shares. And after an hour or so I got shares and money reduced. I even remember a guy here in Mandhana or DB Realty took out all money as he got sms of money being credited and he was in market and later had to deposit all money to get shares.

get some life and have patiences. I wonder how fast you guys must be jumping to cover losses once your shares are on red while watching terminal?

Ya you Are Right SBI suffers some technical Problem, in Trading times too, sometimes orders were not even accepted and sometime a message pops out as "Market closed" at 11 A.M yesterday,
They should look after it seriously....

as per my understanding there is some technical error with sbi asba. as not a single ac has been debited so far. but giving the size of bank and no of customers affected, i hope bank will rectify it.

Me too Applied for 130 Shares By SBI ASBA, line was lifted yesterday around 10 P.M But no debit made yet, Everyone Applied through SBI has some Problem, So lets wait till the Announcement of Allotment comes out...

There has been no debits in my SBI Account so far. I had applied for 130 shares thru SBI ASBA. Entire lien amount has been unblocked. I don,t think there will be any allotment now. Something is seriously wrong with SBI. Has any of you got any allotment thru SBI ASBA so far?

I also have the same experience. The SBI ASBA is probably not working. I also got the entire amount unblocked. No allotments. Something will have to be done with SBI. Will somebody from SBI respond?

Applied through SBI ASBA service and got the entire amount back...Not sure what's wrong with SBI
