I have trading accounts in Religare & Indiabulls.
Both allow you to short sell shares not in your DP provided you have enough margin in your account in form of cash or A group shares, in case the shares have to be bought in auction. No idea about ICICI or Sharekhan.

I had applied for 140 shares thru SBI ASBA. The locked amount has been unlocked. But no shares alloted and no money debited to my account. As per the allotment basis I should get 71 shares. What could be the matter? Is there any problem with SBI? Can anyone help me?

If you want to sell shares, Should we shortsell shares which is available in Sharekhan. I tried to sell the shares but it gave message as shares not available in DP. And it is worse in ICICI direct as there is no short sell option. Please let me know how people sold there shares, without being credited.

The cheaters can cheat only the idiots. Why would someone sell his shares without confirming he has got them? Such greedy fools deserve to lose their money. And they have the cheek to blame others for their lunacy.

As long as greed is there, cheating will continue. So before one asks others not to cheat, one should try to reduce one's greed.
