Trading Members of the Exchange are hereby informed that effective from Tuesday, April 16, 2019, the equity shares of Polycab India Limited shall be listed and admitted to dealings on the Exchange in the list of 'B' Group of Securities

Regarding listing date of Polycab IPO please refer page no #583 of prospectus where it is clearly mentioned that the listing date is "on or about 18th April, 2019"

Is this shares good to buy on listing day and hold for long term(1- 2 years)?

Polycab is opening new plant at Vadodara, likely to be operational next year. This combined with current growths, the valuation is certainly going to increase. I think it is a safe investment for the long term.

No information with reference to date of listing in the web-sites of BSE & NSE.

However, the Registrar communicated the Expected dated listing as 16-04-2019. Relevant portion is re-produced below.
