@eagleye If profit for March 2017 is assumed at 450 crs on expanded equity of 165 crs translates into eps of 27/- Canbank Home expected eps for 2017 is 90/- and available at 1800 or at a pe of 20 whereas if PNB issues shares at 775 then the issue would be priced at a pe of 29 which is way too expensive. I would go by the earning matrix rather than the PV/BOOK. Surely to fail if priced so HIGH!!! Also the book value of canbank has been built largely by earnings as opposed to pnbhousing.

@eagleye....anchor investors list was also super good for icici pru,lti cafe coofee day etc....but see the fate of overpriced issue. So many mutual fund turnover ratio even more than 150-300%..they r also doing it like day traders nowadays.
BTW tom trident Mumbai @4.30 PM is the formal announcement of IPO....let''s hope some sense prevail to the merchant bankers.
One observation I have made, whenever there r many lead managers Issue generally gets overpriced.

Nidhike Sir,
With all due respects to your opinion ...
However, In the case of PNB Housing: In short term, P/BV will be 3X = Rs.337.76 X 3 = Rs.1013/- In medium term, P/BV will be 4X = Rs.337.76 X 4 = Rs.1351/-
Sir risingofmd.. Kostak prices are mostly accurate but it''s kind of difficult to trust someone whom you don''t know, so buyers go to their broker only.. So don''t misunderstand or take it negatively but this is how the market works.. And again everyone informing Kostak isn''t necessarily a buyer..! :) :)

You asked 950...but price that he offered was 850, so have some respect for yourself and others.
@ 58.1 Gupa . Yes ..A certain stocks must sell cheap ...But there has to be a cause if there is a effect right?...Oh! That''s unless the investors have a Godlike free will to make shares trade at absurd vauations.
. So yes ...those conservative investors who are out to shop for a Nano would buy it...while the higher echelons wouldn''t bring home nothing short of a BMW or an AUDI... .
