Dear all, it's off topic. All applies IPO using various banks using ASBA and UPI. With present conditions, a very few blessed only gets allotted and others end with earning 2.75 % bank intrest only. Most of the banks gives intrest rate of 2.75℅ only for the IPO application money and a few banks like ICICI and Kotak allows IPO application money with linked FD. Can you please suggest any other bank which allows application of IPO with linked FD . How people who uses nationalized banks manages with poor rate of return with no allotment. I do not invest either in secondary market or mutual funds.. Thanks

Anyone using Kotak activmoney feature?
It's description says one can use available balance from FD.
IS IS ALLOWABLE FOR ipo porpuses?

​@S.B JAIN sahab, breaking FD entails 0.5% penalty, and interest rate shall be as applicable for broken period. That is, if your FD was of 2 yrs earning 7% p.a., but you broke it on completion of 1 year, and rate for 1yr FD is 6%, then you will earn 5.5% for this deposit.

​@ValueSeeker Bhai I have no idea about sweeping facility, but in active money amount in saving account> 25000 automatically transfer to Active money FD in round off of rs. 5000, and if amount in saving account reduce below 10000 then shortage amount automatically transfer from active money FD account. ( Ha to bol sakte he ki it is the same as sweep, just old wine in new bottle, may be difference in interest rate or maturity period)

@S.B JAIN Ji, after consideration of point share by @ValueSeeker , if you think that probable profit from the ipo is more than the loss of interest due to breach of the current FD , then only you may broke your current FD. And I am not applying from Kotak securities, hence no idea about it.

Yes, I am applying thru HDFC bank ASBA. Very smooth. In Axis no idea.

​@shri kishan meena I am using Axis ASBA from many years. Going smooth. But sometimes on last day and after 13.00hrs. It's difficult to apply. May be last hours rush and more number of IPOs. I have faced this problem when I applied last minute. In last minutes rush, after confirming the report, applied and got allotment in Global Hospital, Mankind and R R Kable. All three great. Holding two. Sold Mankind.
Axis not a bad choice.

Why wait for allotment? The chances are highly unlikely. Soon your mandate will be revoked :>)

It is not allotment message

I think this is the old message for blocking your amount when you applied. Check the message date. It does not mean allotment. When you have been allotted , account debit message will come.

Do Indusind, kotak and yes bank allow ipo application through asba facility online?

Looks like they handpicking the lottery allotment. Such a small issue and no notification of allotment. ~15-16 lk applications ,not too much.

Almost 1 will get allotment out of 350,

In my HUF account there is an braces i.e. (HUF) due to which I am not able to apply ipo , giving me error called special characters not allowed.
Application applied from Axis Bank account.

Anybody facing same issue and please provide me solution for same

My home axis branch is saying we cannot do anything because you have () in pan card.
Don't know what to do.
Can someone please help me or can someone suggest me different bank where I can open HUF account with () and no issue while applying ipo

​@jigi Just get your pancard corrected at the nsdl or uti website. It will cost you 107 rupees and then accordingly you can request your home branch for braces removal

Dear all, yesterday my mandate for Plaza Wires failed on Google Pay while making the payment around 4.45 PM. I am using Zerodha to apply for IPO. Can anyone help me regarding what to do in such a scenario (since I normally accept the mandate between 4.00 PM to 5.00 PM)? Is it possible to regenerate the mandate in such a case (for an already application of an IPO)? Thanks in advance!

​@Vimal Garodia Alright, sir. @SHINE I would agree with @The Nest that only one application is allowed in Zerodha.

Ok, so Zerodha guys cannot apply. Other brokers might. May be i will try next time whenever i am in a dilemma because of QIB numbers or some other reason.

I think aaj allotment nahi aayega agar aane wala hota toah 8-10 ke bich main kisika toah Debit - unblock ka message aaja jata yahape....

aisa met bolo yar kab se wait kar rahe he aisa lag raha he ab T+1 me bhi 😜
