It is offline process. You must contact with zerodha customer care. Account opening fee will be high, even you have to pay the brokerages on delivery trades, and annual maintenance charges will be there.

Thanks for reply. I just checked with zerodha customer care. They told there are 2 additional charge (one time account opening fee 500, and 0.01% or rs 20 per delivery trade). Also they mentioned its only offline process so it will take 2 weeks to open( first fill forms and verify using email, then courier forms to their Bangalore office then they will open).

Any idea if we can open HUF dmat quickly and online process with some other brokers??

You need to contact bank to update minors PAN number.

I have minor account in Kotak. Once you have to submit form then you can submit ASBA IPO online

I too faced the same problem. Opened savings account in ICICI with minors pan but unfortunately the ipo online application page showed my pan instead of minors. Due to this my application as well as minors application in ipo was rejected on technical grounds (may be same PAN for both applications). I later opened the savings account in HDFC Bank with minors PAN and I am the joint holder in it and successfully got the first ipo allotment for my minor child through HDFC Bank. Hope this solves your doubt

You can open minor savings a/c with IDBI, then apply through ASBA. I am using since many years.

​@Ankit agarwals How you will apply IPO on minor in HDFC bank and If you get a allotment then you can sell share directly from minor account in HDFC account.

open account with HDFC. I did it last week and applied successfully in Plaza wire.

@DannymonI ... Same problem with me in HDFC . My PAN is showing in Minor's Account.
Is there any optionj in Online Banking or I have to go to bank branch for change this .
