LC today :(

Such a poor service by IciciDirect...they have put UC at 179 and shares listed at 225 . Unable to place limit orders due to this as price crossing UC . No one knows UC at customercare as they just escalate the call to seniors with same response only.

Link fd was my main motive to move to icici..
Otherwise my old broker is fine.. I have never ever seen any type of problem in trading in last 15 years..
So weather I should apply in ipo's from icici saving a/c's.. Without Linking it with my old existing dmate a/c's of other broker.. Or should I Link these old demat a/c's with my new icici bank a/c's..instead of connecting with icici direct..
Till now I am using SBI ASBA.. But cut off time of sbi is 2 pm.. & timely fund unblock is also remain concern in sbiYours clarification will help me..

I forgot to mention a very positive point with IciciDirect which is eATM where you get your cash within 5 mnts after selling for 1000 listed companies and hence can be reused . If you are used to net/ website as an alternative should you face such glitches then you can try , else other option with outside broker can also be tried till this get addressed.👍👍

​@MVP , I believe everything averages out eventually.
If you consistently sell in pre-open - you will loose out on some opportunities of further gains but losses (profit reduction) like today will be saved.
While if your strategy is to hold for sometime, you will make more money based on post listing action but days like today would eat into the profits available at pre-open.
It is important to follow one strategy else we may end up selling the ones which rise after pre-open and hold on to the looser (like the ones today).

Totally Gray bhai. "everything averages out eventually" this line sums up everything.
There are always some hits and misses. Still holding partial JSW, Inox that is good. Still holding partial Tata and Gandhar. So at the end everything averages out.
My strategy mostly exit on listing, and even if i decide to hold something, I never hold 100%, always book partial profit.

Observe the disparity between NSE and BSE bids. BSE had a buyer at 223+ while on the NSE operator was selling at 221.5. The tick size of 5 paise has also been sent for the toss by the operator. Hilarious !!

I bought some during pre-open for long term

hello i am accumulating shares at every dip so bought some yesterday at 221 bought some today at lower circuit and ready to buy if there is any lower circuit tomorrow ...... such good ipo with good fudamentals priced lower to its peers at 171 will be available at 200 tomorrow so in my opinion its no brainer just like i accumulated inox india from 900 to 810

EMS senco Azad engineering all underperformed at listing but then shoot up once DII and or HNI operators got the quantity desired

here i belive we should expect 30-35% rise from bottom and tomorrow bottom should be made (at max it may tough 191 intraday in worst case scenario)

as i said yesterday it was no brainer at 200 i expect 25-30% from 200 Rs in short term so by the end of the march i expect this share to consolidate in the range of 240-255 and touch 260 intraday between 11.20am to 11.25am total 8.25 lakh share was purchased erradicating all sellers now panic sellers will be a few

Out of total available shares of about 97 lakh, more than 50% already changed hands. Downside appears limited at this level . let's wait and see.

Once volume cross 50L...then only upper circuit...back to back

Less than expected listing. May be big fishes cornering at low levels. Decided to hold 1 Retail lot and to take a call after it comes out of T Group in 10 days.

Holding. Current price is at a huge discount to the peers and not at all in tandem with the fundamentals of such a low float company.

Supreme petro and Apcotex trading at 35 and 38 P/E despite pathetic return (ROE / OPM / EBIDTA margin) matrix as compared with platinum. Holding for 310

It is an excellent stock at pretty comfortable valuations (According to me)

I am holding and have added more. May go wrong also. Market is supreme. Need to bow down and learn from the market
