Ye digital india hay bhai Last 3 allotment rat ko aye per sabhi me site down ....... Isme bhi subah ko hi pata chalega ek chhota sa allotment me nahe de sakte wah india wahhhh growing digital india.....
The Site is showing that allotment is out with no records available. Very clever & smart people to argue that we have completed the process within time period but we all are suffering due to their failure. This is just like that Rupee is not weaking but Dollar💰 is becoming stronger.
First time checking on this registrar, phantom ne inhe job de diya is bheed m.

@Lokes @Avenue @Noorul and other senior experts.. I had applied sabar flex in Hni category with 58 lots and I did not get the allotment. Yesterday, I had a look at the BOA of Sabar and I found out that I was the only applicant at 58 lots. Although the issue was subscribed 116 times in HNI but after technical rejections it was only 114 times. So, in this case as 58 times is more than 50% of 114, shouldn't I have got the allotment? Should I take up the matter with the registrar or the process of allotment completely automated and because of round off it can happen that you don't get allotment even after being your lot size being slightly more than 50% as happened with me here.
@Aman IPO... we have seen such cases of no allotment in the past too when chances are close to 50-52% . I dont know the reason or rule, but if trying, I try to be 53%+.
You may email registrar if have time, they must confirm. If you get answer please share here also..

@aman: as i mentioned in past too, there is no hard and fast rule for 0.5 only to be considered, it is considered as per availability(excess) of shares left after giving to most eligible ones and not giving to below ratio once so between 0.47 to 0.53 approx , it can be anyway, means someone might be allotted with 0.47 also and someone might not be allotted 0.53 too...its decided based on algorithm as per shares availability and no. of applications....so even this 0.47 and 0.53 also not fixed , it can too vary by little, but most of the times, always it comes under 0.48 to 0.52 range in which it can go anyway....
@Aman, hard luck bro..... Had there been 1 more lot you would have got it....Had there been only 1 applicant at 57 lots.... U would have got it..... Had one applicant of 57 lots applied instead for 58 lots....you would have had 50% chance of getting it..... You see every single lot category starting from your 58 lots and below where there were only 1 applicant did not get any confirmed allottee..... This is why I had said earlier that never aim for a unique number but round it off to have chance in a lottery because in case of odd lots preference is given to those lot category first where relatively higher number of applicants have applied. Hence 57 lots applicants got 1 lot as it had 2 applicants while your application of 58 lots did not get any lot as you were the only applicant. The law of 50% does work but you have to keep in mind allotment was not for 1 share but 10000 shares at a go...so approximation leads to slight divergence in the 50% rule and this time it affected you. This is my personal assumption and I believe you should contact the RTA for more accurate answer and I would request you to post it here....that would help us all in the future....

@justalearner: you are somewhat correct to some point, but information shared by you in below quoted lines is coming as misleading too, so please don't confuse new people here, most old people already knows how it works...
its not about 2 applicants are given preference over 1 applicant, from 2 applicant, one will get 1 lot obviously because the total is 57*2=114 and subscription is 112 times....and being unique favors also many times like as you also pointed for 59 lots, he was being single and allotted with 59 lots too from 112times subscription so its all about surplus and deficit being generated after allocation of available shares to all lot sizes to accommodate max people near to 0.50% range.....so this time he was just at border and got unlucky.....

Thank you Avenue, Justlearner and Lokes for all your inputs. I have decided to write email to the registrar and I will definitely share the reply here.
Although I have similar views as Lokes that there can not be hard and fast rule of 50% and if there is definitely some algorithm involved and it may so happen that in a particular ipo even someone with 0.48 ratio may be alloted as there are some shares left after allocating as per ratio and in some ipo's even someone with 0.52 ratio may not be alloted as there are many single lot applications above 0.5 ratio and all the shares get exhausted at 0.53 or 0.52 ratio and below that no one gets anything as happened with me here. Still seeking confirmation from the registrar would not cost anything so I would definitely write to them.
@justalearner I would tend to disagree with you on the point that we must not aim for a unique number and try to round off so that we come in lottery. Applying with a unique number helps you to get confirm allotment and it has helped me many times. The only mistake I made in sabar was I never expected subscription to go above 100 times and that was my error of judgement. Had it been subscribed 100 times or below I would have got confirmed lot because of being in a unique number. Similarly here many people who applied for 59 lots, 61 lots, 62 lots and so many others got confirmed allotment just because of being in unique number lot.
@lokes and other experts: What if I'm the only application with a unique lot number and it's below 0.50% ? e.g., issue is subscribed 100 times and I'm the only applicant who applied 23 lots, will I be immediately out of lottery and won't be allotted anything?
just trying to understand how allotment/lottery works in SME IPOs.

@SinglaIpo Yes, definitely in that case you will be out of lottery and you will not get anything for sure.
@Aman Ipo : if you look at Steelman BOA, only one applicant applied 14 lots (16800 shares) and how did he get allotment?

@SinglaIPO That is because of difference of algorithm between heavily oversubscribed IPO & lightly oversubscribed IPO, that we still trying to decode. Higher the amount of oversubscription, very high the number of shares applied from where every lot category has atleast 1 lot allotment, & till that number, some lot with <50% subscription will have zero allotment. Steelman was lightly prescribed, so no lot category has zero allotment, & even <50% subscription also had min 1 lot allotment. Insolation & Concord were highly oversubscribed so many lot category has zero allotment & after 3 lakh shares category, firm allotment was there. It will be even more tighter allotment in Phantom. More people looking at BoA with their own perspective, more we will be able to decode BoA process & more we will be able to use it at our advantage.

@IPOGainers Closest HNI OS to your example (300) is Annapurna (301 times). So let us examine that.
There 100 lot (in fact upto 146 lot) category where there was single application, no allotment, so can assume no lottery was done.
In case of 200-250 lot application (in fact after 150 lots) all single application has min 1 lot allotment. That proves our gurus theory (Avenue, MK, Noorul, Lokes& many).

@SinglaIPO: for your example, you told if issue subscribed 100 times and applied 23 lot, so it wont be part of lottery if single application as ratio coming is only 0.23 and for steelman example of 14 lot single application allotment, in that steelman was subscribed 28.6 times finally in HNI as seen in BOA so ratio is around 0.5 so single applicant was allotted.... @SamJos : there is no difference in calculation for lightly or heavily subscribed ipos, its same way always, so please don't get confused and don't confuse others....its similar way as i explained in above messages... @IPOGainers: you can see my replies in below post and u can also open one more link in that thread to understand more when u have time.... https://www.chittorgarh.com/ipo/ipo_discussions.asp?a=1207&c=489020&ap=1
