फंडों को राजी करने में मर्चेंट बैंकरों को कोई दिक्कत नहीं हुई। ब्रोकरों का कहना है कि अच्छी कंपनियों में बड़े निवेश का अवसर और कुछ हद तक लिस्टिंग के बाद जल्द मुनाफा बनाने के लिए म्यूचुअल फंडों ने पब्लिक इश्यू में पैसा लगाया। मर्चेंट बैंकरों के मुताबिक, एसबीआई म्यूचुअल फंड, बिड़ला सनलाइफ, रिलायंस म्यूचुअल, एचडीएफसी म्यूचुअल, सुंदरम बीएनपी पारिबा म्यूचुअल और कोटक म्यूचुअल ने पिछले एक साल में प्राइमरी मार्केट में अच्छा पैसा लगाया है।

महिंद्रा हॉलिडेज, इंडियाबुल्स पावर, अदानी पावर, वैस्कॉन इंजीनियर्स, एआरएसएस इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर और युनाइटेड बैंक ऑफ इंडिया के आईपीओ में म्यूचुअल फंडों की हिस्सेदारी इश्यू साइज के 3 फीसदी से ज्यादा रही है। हालांकि, इश्यू के कुल आकार के लिहाज से म्यूचुअल फंडों की हिस्सेदारी ज्यादा नहीं है। असल में म्यूचुअल फंडों का निवेश क्वालिफाइड इंस्टीट्यूशनल बायर (क्यूआईबी) सेगमेंट के तहत आता है। सेबी के नियमों के मुताबिक, किसी इश्यू में क्यूआईबी सेगमेंट का 5 फीसदी हिस्सा म्यूचुअल फंडों के लिए आरक्षित होता है। ब्रोकरेज फर्म आमंड ग्लोबल के हेड (इनवेस्टमेंट बैंकिंग) शरद राठी ने कहा, 'म्यूचअल फंड छोटे इश्यू में दिलचस्पी दिखा रहे हैं। क्यूआईबी सेगमेंट के 5 फीसदी शेयर म्यूचुअल फंडों के लिए आरक्षित रहने से उन्हें एक बार में ही अच्छा निवेश करने का अवसर मिल जाता है। आईपीओ में निवेश के दौरान फंडों की नजरें लिस्टिंग गेंस पर भी होती हैं।'

सूत्रों के मुताबिक पब्लिक इश्यू में निवेश करने से पहले फंड ग्रे-मार्केट में चल रहे प्रीमियम को देखना नहीं भूलते। एक विदेशी ब्रोकरेज फर्म के हेड (मर्चेंट बैंकिंग) ने बताया, 'हम उन्हें मुनाफा कमाने के मौके का भरोसा दिलाते हैं। इश्यू का आकार बड़ा रहने पर हम क्यूआईबी को शेयरों से बाहर निकलने का मौका देने के लिए शेयरों में पर्याप्त वॉल्यूम सुनिश्चित करते हैं। छोटे मर्चेंट बैंकर वॉल्यूम बढ़ाने के लिए ब्रोकरों की मदद लेते हैं।' अगर शेयर बाजार में लिस्टिंग कीमत को देखा जाए तो अधिकतर आईपीओ अपने ऑफर प्राइस के मुकाबले अच्छे प्रीमियम पर लिस्ट हुए हैं। डीक्यू एंटरटेनमेंट, एआरएसएस इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर और मैन इंफ्राकॉन के शेयर स्टॉक एक्सचेंजों में 30 फीसदी से ज्यादा प्रीमियम पर सूचीबद्ध हुए।

पिछले साल बाजार में आए कई इश्यू 10-20 फीसदी प्रीमियम पर लिस्ट हुए थे। एक्सचेंज में लिस्टिंग के दिन अधिकतर निवेशकों के लिस्टिंग गेंस हासिल कर लेने के बाद कारोबार खत्म होने तक शेयरों की कीमतें गिर जाती हैं। मर्चेंट बैंकरों के मुताबिक, लिस्टिंग के दिन के बाद 70 फीसदी शेयर दूसरों के हाथों में चले जाते हैं। सुंदरम बीएनपी पारिबा म्यूचुअल फंड के हेड (इक्विटी) सतीश रामनाथन ने बताया, 'हम नए और मोनोपॉलिस्टिक कारोबार वाले इश्यू में निवेश करते हैं। एसेट अच्छा होने पर हम लंबी अवधि के नजरिए से निवेश करते हैं। सिर्फ हॉट पब्लिक इश्यू में ही हम लिस्टिंग गेंस हासिल करना चाहते हैं।' रिलायंस म्यूचुअल फंड के संदीप सिक्का ने कहा, 'हम आईपीओ में निवेश के लिए चुनिंदा आधार पर फैसला करते हैं। हम पैसे वहीं लगाते हैं जहां अच्छी वैल्यू होती है।'

Hi,
I had applied for Persistent IPO thru my sbicapsec demat accout for 6 lots and thru SBI ASBA for 2 lots.
Dint get anything thru sbicapsec and got my amount refunded.
But the SBI ASBA, the amount 12600 has been deducted, but they haven't alloted any ting yet.Is it ok to assume that I have been alloted 40 shares and will be getting the shares soon?

The Basis of Allocation to the Retail Individual Investors, who have bid at cut-off or at the Issue Price of Rs.310/- per Equity Share was finalized in consultation with NSE. This category has been over-subscribed to the extent of 21.0817 times and hence allotment was done on full and firm basis to all valid applicants. Overall 142,348 applications for 30,604,620 Equity Shares were found valid and they were considered for allotment. The above includes 26,244 valid applications for 5,635,820 Equity Shares made under the ASBA process. The total number of shares allotted in Retail Individual Investor category is 1,525,480 Equity Shares to 76,274 applicants.

Persistent is going to touch 600 on first day... try and accumulate at around 500 ... dont sell the long term horse. A really good comapany with lots of reserves and all the assets owned by it self. Its a debt free organization. So can move towards 800 level in a year or so.

In IT industry, the employee strength directly proportional to revenue. Unless you are a product company like oracle fin or subex. I agree the company do premium service but the employee cost also very high for that matter. Rupee also appreciates lately. Ppl are talking of 42 levels. It's just my two cents. I may be proved wrong, but that's what stock market is.

veera use your common sense this stock in your dreams can never reach 400 forget about it going to 300.

it is a multibagger and in niche space. these kind of stories are very liked by f investors and looking at subscription of 144 which is higest ever this stock will list at min 450 rs and will cross 525-550 on same day itself.

Fair price is about 400. Sell on the price and re-enter at 300 down the line. Good stock to own in the portfolio, but not a multibagger.
