Hi all

Personally I decided not to app;y for 2-3 reasons which is not financials

1. He celebrated like anything(Like after Dhoni hitting a sixer in the world cup) after the SEBI approval
2. He went to Tiruppati temple for the success of the IPO
3. He thinks 2000+ IPO price not a problem people will be behind Paytm brand just like that

Over confidence on pricing but not at all confident on the how it will sail through...not having any confidence on financials and he is so excited

Let it be a lesson for all such people. Other wise this trend will continue

This portal is a good place to give views on IPOs and share market related views by the members. Here is my suggestion to the Chittorgarh Admin : Why don''t they give their selfless views on IPOs. Points out of ten points. This will help the members to take decision for applying the IPO. Experts give their views and market GMP. Chittorgarh never give views. Are they not allowed to do so. Is there any restriction for the same. All senior members, Gurus and experts are requested to give their opinion about my views, if they wish. If I am wrong I may be corrected.

BIG NO. Social media platform owners should not be involved anyway in sharing opinion on their own platform.

Any such involvement in their own platforms can very soon lead to conflict of interest. It is a recipe for misuse leading to disaster for normal investors.

@Admin - Thanks for providing great platform, tools and information on IPOs.

Suggestion to provide a tool to have sentiments of members. Eg. each member can able to rate IPOs on each ipo page from range 1 to 5. ( can''t rate more than once ). Based on members rating, you can provide various statistics like: 1) Overall Rating, IPO Gurus Rating, IPO Mentor Rating, etc.
( Suggestion for Tool name "Sentimeter" )

This tool helps majority of the members to judge IPOs and overall sentiments of members towards IPO.

Thank you for your message.

We had a Member IPO Recommendation tool a few years back. But it didn''t work out. Eventually, we removed it.

While we couldn''t understand the reason behind not using that tool, we assumed it could be because of multiple factors:

1. The issue details like pricing are available only a couple of days before IPO opens.

2. Most members are not comfortable in sharing a set rating like Apply or Skip.

3. Investors wait till the last minute to make the call in most IPOs. The opinion can change based on oversubscription, GMP, or market situation.

We could introduce this feature once again if you feel this makes sense.

Will you be posting your recommendation along with the rationale if we provide this facility?

@Admin - This looks excellent and very useful tool for members. May be just need to encourage some members. Once senior members start posting their recommendation it will get popular.

Also I just saw "IPO Rating" box next to "IPO Prospectus" box. This is also is good tool, but seems there are some bugs in it. I tried to rate and it increase vote by more than 1. ie Before I post rating count was showing 1645 and when I click on rating, count jumps to 1648. I refresh the page and again rating counts shows back 1645.

Also, presentation of this rating system can be improved by showing overall Votes, along with Member category wise votes. That will give more detail vision how Gurus , Mentors, etc. rates IPO.

@ADMIN: can you please add "Track replies" while posting buyback messages, same like mainboard/sme ipo''s posts, since there we don''t get any mail alert for our replies. Already very few people posting there and even then many times , posts goes un-noticed. I already gave this feedback two times in buyback post messages and one time in mainboard ipo post. Please reply at least that you will be implementing this or not ?

Dear Admin Team at Chittorgarh,

I find your forum page on IPOs very easy to navigate and use. The main problem is that the discussions are related only till IPO listing and not after that.

I think you can create a separate forum page for each listed stock. I know Moneycontrol and Valuepickr do this, but for some reason I do not like their style.

It would be great if we could have one dedicated forum page for each listed stock (atleast major ones) to discuss latest news, valuations and charts etc.

Remaining it all depends on people''s wish and discipline, or if you will make some rule to follow, like last time you mentioned "we will soon start blocking all other posts on mainboard ipos".

If making money is not an objective while applying for an IPO I don''t know what else is a motivation. Call it investor''s greed if you want to.
With such high valuations risk-reward is very much against investors. If listing gains chances are low I would rather buy it after listing why block my money now?

I am thinking to put in one HNI application, if that category is subscribe by two times before 2PM.
Of course I am already holding 40 shares @ Rs. 2,425.

When the Anchor investors list looks so good, why is there hesitation in people that they are still not subscribing?
Even if there is a small gain (from the current GMP price of Rs 70 per share meaning rs 420 per lot) why lose out on this opportunity? Shouldn''t retail just apply for 15 Lots and get about Rs. 6300 in 7 days?!

This is India, people are more comfortable in keeping money at bank rather than in an unsecured wallet. 2015-2016 was the best time for this IPO
This is why there is a sudden boom in pay later services. People are rejecting wallet concept.

Those who have put in their ordes should cancel their orders. If by any chance it gets subscribed 1 time, retail will be absorbing all the stock. Expect at least 30% listing day loss if not more. If issue is not Fully subscribed they will be forced to lower the price band.

Amazon pay for countless offers and Gpay for ease of use. Both are doing good. hardly anyone around me uses Paytm Wallet, specifically after UPI boom.
