@Aniketiaf: It is already at 600 level so it will cross 700 easily in one month. It has 52 week high of 766 so very likely it will touch that mark again soon. 20-25% earning seems to be on plate if we don''t go to tender (- 15%STCG).
We have seen how Wipro performed, did not do mistake to tender @400 but exited foolishly at 490. You were expecting 1-2 month target of 500 and it was moving steeply up/down which prompted me to exit. Holding long is the key to earn i am learning that hard way. Cannot count how many exits i had done and i am suffering.

@MRavi: aniket didn''t got BEW ipo as we discussed on other sme ipo page, he got other one platinumous something name....
Atleast I think you can keep holding for some more days as volume is still less and demand is more, and for prevest also, you can keep holding for some months for multifold returns

@Coldburger - As per my limited knowledge, there will be no LTCG/STCG when Shares are offered and accepted in Buyback.

You are right that it can easily cross 700 in near future. I feel this is good opportunity to gain tax free profit and if want to invest for long term, again buy from market after acceptance.

@P Patel: Humble submission, my statement ["20-25% earning seems to be on plate if we don''t go to tender (- 15%STCG)."] was misunderstood.

I mentioned STCG for case where investor go long and not tendering in buyback. So if one exit that within 12 months then that profit will be subject to (deduction/-)15% STCG tax. Buyback is free from tax liability for investor but income is limited unless the scrip hits or exceed buyback price.

I would like to take part in your pain.
I have Car trade 1600 shares, Aptus 5854 shares (added 1000 today as it gone 5% down), windlas 8027 - all are in huge loss so far. hope, things will change in the coming days/weeks. Not necessarily all shares move up with the market. Time has come for these, to change directions. (I liked JSTM''s positive guess on car trade and disliked his bear''s guess on Aptus, no offence JSTM. btw, I will add APTUS more and more if it goes down, for sure)

atleast if i would be at your place then in companies where i am not so sure/convinced like aptus/windslar, i would be booking profit/loss soon after ipos if investing with this much amount.... [cartrade i was having thinking it would do good so i stick to it but decision proved wrong till now, lets see for some more months]
now since its 1-2 lots for each so i am holding for more time...and anyways i sold some of these companies initially after ipo in my family accounts...

@lokes, I am having RBL bank. on the 3rd point, I dont see major risk in case of banks announcing mortarium. Both are safe from that point with better interest rate, i would suggest RBL. I dont have mob app, however, RBL net banking works very well (no issues even upto 02:59 pm on closing day). and major advantage, you can see all IPO''s and Rights in the IPO page in RBL ASBA (all SME''s).

@Lokes, I am almost certain that its not the fault from the bank. I am using RBL for long time now, I got so many IPO''s allotments (i got Gland pharma - huge quantities through RBL ASBA) including few SME. never been an issue so far (exception is Paras).

* AU bank provides mobile ASBA in addition to kotak in private banks.
* The banks which has less traffic has no or less technical glitches. IMO go for the RBL OR AU.
* Monthly interest payment in savings account of AU & IDFC bank.

As I already mention that only AU bank provides mobile ASBA in addition to Kotak in private banks. RBL or Indusind none of them are providing mobile ASBA. Regarding RBL bank , everything is almost mentioned by MRavi. Indusind sometimes hang on last day and also unblocking is very late. However you trust or not any bank is another thing but every other bank is not like yes bank. RBI is the watchdog of all private banks unlike co-operative banks. Interest payment was just for information purpose only.

lokes , from your query I understood you are planning to apply in HNI category rather than RII otherwise anybody can take risk for 15000 rs. lot in any bank. My personal suggestion is to go for RBL bank for HNI application. If you are planning for AU also then you can open with 5k rs. only. All the best for the next IPOs.

@LOKES There is a discussion thread regarding this matter in Sansera page. I had raised the same query and as far as I remember you and jstm had helped me out.
I also had the same confusion whether to go for RBL or Indusind. I finally went with Indusind because of the following reasons -
- Bank is one of the top established players with consistent profitability and annual growth. Security is much better than RBL which has a history of very volatile performance and profitability. You can check the June quarter results of RBL, it has huge loss and its revenue has been consistently declining.

- Even though RBL bank provides higher savings interest rate, you can opt for Linked type FD in Indusind bank where you earn 6% interest with monthly payout on 1 yr FD and the good thing is you can use this FD amount along with your savings balance for HNI application in any IPO.
Basically, suppose you have 11 lakhs, book 10 lakh FD on which u get 6% monthly interest payout and balance 1 lakh in Savings account will earn 4% quarterly. You will be able to use whole 11 lakh for ipo application and there is sweep in sweep out facility so your FD won''t break.

As for mobile app, I have no idea. Their website is good enough and can be used on any smartphone. You won''t face any issue.
The last point regarding technical issues, I won''t be able to comment on that because Paras Ipo was the first one from my Indusind account.

I would personally suggest everyone to avoid Au bank because their website looks so basic and scammy and their branches have pathetic reviews.
As for RBL, i wasn''t comfortable looking at its financial results and negative growth rate. Security was my biggest concern and I''m already getting good interest rate in Indusind so I decided to skip RBL.

Your pain is greater than anyone else... could you share your application no. So we can identify the fault in bid if there''s any.

@MRavi: i think you told you are applying from some other bank this as this ipo was not showing in icici direct, so please check once from any mistake perspective while applying, definitely something happened from your or bank side...else as we know you must have got 4 lots plus some shares...

@MRavichandran Sir please check from your side. If application is fine and at upper price band and your bank has successfully processed it then you can take action against Linkintime.
Please check if u had received any mail regarding this IPO like successful bid application or allotment mail.
Any Ipo which gets highly subscribed, Linkintime is always late to release its allotment. The worst registrar ever. Their modus operandi is highly suspicious and fishy.

We will check once BoA is out.

I am very eager to know BoA to see my HNI application.

Within 1 or 2 days we shall be updated. Earlier also such kind of things happened when registrar was Link In Time.

@MRavi... Very sad to see you miss this IPO like this. Unless, your application technically rejected there is no reason for the registrar not to allot you confirmed Allotment of shares. Banks won''t allow HNI bid at cut-off and so need to check the reason. Try checking the IPO status from BSE website and see if any reason mentioned

Generally resident Indians are preferred in Defence, Telecom stocks.

@Mravichandaran It is really strange and should be investigated if you have time. You and we all should know the exact reason so that it never repeats to you or anybody else. You may try calling the concerned authorities in place of mail mail game which takes time and mostly we loose track in follow-ups. You may also contact chittorgarh team and see if they can help in ascertaining the reason of no allotment.

ONE REASON COULD BE THIRD PARTY APPLICATION.

HENCEFORTH PLS DONT MENTION YOUR APPLIED LOTS SIZE ON ANY PUBLIC FORUM .

All who applied for 928+ lots got 1 or as per numbers. Your application might have gone rejected due to some technical error. Or your banked might have not confirmed the charge, if you had submitted application using some broker.

Very strange unless application was rejected! I read someone got 200 lots based on debit statement! Seems high level of manual assignment by registrar. Does not seems they follow rules. If you did not get allotment then it is a sure shot malpractice and you must report to SEBI. They will bother to see if HNI like you are reporting.

@Chalak lomdi He has extra funds in his bank account on which he is already earning interest, so why can''t he earn some more money by using the funds as a leverage in HNI?

Well, this topic got very off track because of some stupid and unnecessary comments.
Coming back to original topic, @MRavichandran please let us know what was the outcome of your email and complaint to SEBI.
If there is a genuine scam being done by LinkInTime than i hope SEBI takes some strong action against them. Who knows they might be doing similar things in Retail applications as well, but it''s almost impossible to catch their scam in the retail category.
I personally would want to know what was the replies from LinkIntime and SEBI.

@mravichandran you didn''t got allotment. Reson can only be one Rejection so better go to BSE site login and check if application was accepted or not. To file complaint you need to attach a copy of mail rec''d from NSE or BSE which comes on receipt of successful application. Most probably Registrar won''t be at fault in this case..So better instead of writing replying answering illogical questions use time on creating proper complaint. Registrar can manipulate only in case of Retail applications. The other reason for rejection as be Different Pan number in application/ Demat account than in ASBA account. If funds used were in different account that can be a reason. Read ASBA usage rules. I know Link in time follow them to reject applications specially big one.
As chances of getting anything are rare now. Think you want to waste time or not.

@suneel: in sme also, whoever applying for upto 2 lakh [usually 1 lot] is retail and whoever applying for more than 2 lakh [2 or more than 2 lot] is hni....
if lot size is 1lakh or less then upto 2 lot is retail...
Regarding applying, nothing sure now, i have already given my view in above post in this thread...

SME''s are not for the weak hearted. i have gained huge in BEW, and so far also in Prevest. its just pure luck for allotment on heavily subscribed issues and more luck needed if its with good operators hand. lets discuss more tomorrow in their ipo page. I also keen in Jainum Ferro and Shri Venkatesh.

I think only FIIs are not allowed to invest in defence sector. NRIs are allowed. If FIIs are allowed , then countries like china will know all our secrets. I think every countries have the same policies regarding investment in defence stocks. Anyway it would be very interesting to know the reason for not being allotted.

@coldburger: above 927 lot applications, allotment is in ratio of 1:1, no companion needed in such hni application and so no lottery etc...
@MRavi: No. of lots applied doesnt matter if somehow your application stuck in NRI thing due to defence sector ipo so KDKing might be right i think.
Below are some points i got from RHP, exact reason anyways you will get in your mail response from linkin time.

Eligible NRIs investing on repatriation basis are not permitted to Bid in the Offer.
Participation of Eligible NRIs in the Offer shall be subject to the FEMA Rules.
In accordance with the FEMA Rules and the FDI Policy, participation by non-residents in the Offer is restricted to participation by (i) FPIs under Schedule II of the FEMA Rules, in the Offer subject to limit of the individual holding of an FPI below 10% of the post-Offer paid-up capital of our Company and the aggregate limit for FPI investment currently not exceeding 49% of the post-Offer paid-up capital of our Company; and (ii) Eligible NRIs only on non-repatriation basis under Schedule IV of the FEMA Rules.
Further, other non-residents such as FVCIs and multilateral and bilateral development financial institutions are not permitted to participate in the Offer.

Absolutely, now everything is clear to me. NRI account holders cant apply this defense stock IPO ("Eligible NRIs investing on repatriation basis are not permitted to Bid in the Offer"), this was the same reason, I could not able to see this IPO on my ICICI direct account (some one said that the ICICI direct manager informed, only NRO account holders can apply Paras, i can recall this now and its my mistake not reading this RHP details). My apologies for the mistake done from my part.

@JSTM, you are also right, Non Resident Ordinary (NRO) account holders can still apply. but not from the repatriation basis (which is NRI account)

I have a simple question about choice of no. of lots to apply in HNI.
Someone earlier suggested not to apply for a round no. of lots like 300, 400 but apply for non regular no. like 298, 301 etc. saying it will give more chance of allotment. However now I differ and think one should apply for regular and round no. lots like 300, 350. The reason being having more applications for a given no. of lot does not effect your chance of getting allotment and on the other hand if you choose a really odd figure and are the only applicant, you will not get allotment.
Say for paras, theoretically, if someone is the only applicant for 399 lots, he will not get one lot.

@Avenue As far as I know there is no such logic of odd-even. Always apply the max no of lots possible.
In case you had applied for 400 lots, you probability would be 400/928 and if you had applied for 377 lots, probability would be 377/928. So its always better to apply for the max number of lots in case of such huge oversubscription.

@MogPunisher by odd I did not mean numeric odd but meant uncommon figures.
In Devyani IPO there was only 1 application for 93 lots (15345 shares) and he did not get any allotment. There were 87 application for 70 lots, around 30 would have received 1 lot. Please correct me if I am wrong or missing something.

Please comment on To Hold Or to Sell on Listing, for the 1 Paras lot allotted.

I am not the person to sell for listing day gain and can hold. But I am confused about Paras as company in spite of huge subscription.

@Avenue I have no idea if these tricks work. Probably lokes and jstm might shed some light.
Paras might be locked in upper circuit if selling pressure does not come. Have to watch it closely.

@avenue: yes you are right in your analysis....since someone suggested here for odd lots i was also following that way but later after checking many BOA i already came to know about this point which you mentioned here.......this thing is better atleast in case where we fall under 70% [means applying for 140 or less lots in case of 200X subscription]

But still we don''t know how they will treat for cases more than 70-80%.
For eg: in case of 200x subscription, 10 people applied for 150x so 3/4 of 10, means 7 or 8 people will get each 1 lot
and in same case of 200x subscription, 4 people applied for 151x so 3/4 of 4 people means 3 people will get each 1 lot...but if only 1 people applies and since its 75% case so that person will get or not, no idea....and if 2 people apply 151 then we know definitely 1 will get but will they will to both of them, we dont know..and so on....

so i feel in case we are applying for atleast more than 70-80% of subscription [that exactly we will never be knowing only approx] then only applying in odd lots may help...

so basically it also depends how many similar applications are with you and you are in which range/percentage....

since in BOA documents, they provide mainly only initial some smaller side lots entry and then above subscription figure entries and dont provide much of in between range entries so its hard to find out exact details for the things in my above message , even if they provide some of entries for all range like 40-50-60-70-80-90 % subscriptions then only it will be esay to understand.

Even in Paras IPO -
171 applications for 30 lots, 5 were allotted 1 lot
9 applications for 29 lots, no allotment
