I''ve seen some people loving Reliance or an HDFC stock like anything. I know they are too much attached to the stock. But I feel since we are here in markets to make money, we should be focused on mid or small cap stocks where big up-moves are possible based on current/ future earning estimates instead of sticking to any large cap stock with hardly 1-2% movement in a day. For eg, a GR Infra can move from 1650 to 2450 (Upside 800) earlier than a Reliance moving from 2450 to 2850 (400, half of 800). Something one may ponder over. This is my personal opinion. But I know when one loves or gets too much attached to someone, you don''t look to derive profits.

@ipobull: your analysis is only true when markets keep on climbing. You have not taken into account when markets fall, midcaps/smallcaps will fall more than largecaps as they have rallied a lot from March 2020. In that case Reliance may fall 10 to 15% and GR infra can fall 20 to 30%.
Note: Liquidity is king at the moment and valuations have taken a back seat. Once US Fed tapering starts then liquidity will be withdrawn from the markets and may correct 10 to 15%. Also there is a Evergrand real estate developer issue in China which has 300 billion US$ debt and may file for bankruptcy.

Dear Admin, It is requested to kindly block messages related to payment/ trading problems at various trading websites. People can always go to respective customer care numbers, but they prefer to flood this forum with their problems. This is a grey market related page. Else you may create a separate tab where one can write their grievances.
Please consider my request positively.

May be we can compare this issue with MTAR which is trading around 1500/ against issue price of 575 or so. Only problem here is issue it too small and there are chances after few months the shares will land in hands of those who keep for long term and there won''t be much trading or liquidation. This is major risk with small issues.
I have applied for this IPO yesterday, but due to enter wrong UPI PIN, my bank decline the mandate. Now I am one again applied it and approve the mandate. I want to know that due to multiple apply do my IPO application is rejected or not

Don''t worry..ur 2nd application will be considered and is valid. But as it might subscribe more than 100 times in retail chances of allotments are slim.
@Happy KHR, already available for Aditya Birla - https://www.chittorgarh.com/ipo/aditya-birla-sun-life-amc-ipo/1151/. Are you referring anything different?
Hi Everyone, Someone told me that if we have multiple Bank account in same Pan number than we can apply for multiple times with same Pan number is this true
If i apply for an IPO with my friend''s demat account and use my upi id (which is linked through my bank account) to block the IPO amount.
Then will it be acceptable?
Note: in the past I''m applying the same ( my friends demat acc & my upi id) and all my mandates were accepted by investor & i also got heranba IPO like this. But now when i was reading on zerodha forum it said you cant use different friend''s or family upi.
So i thought to ask that if the rules changed for ipo via upi?
Hi, So many social media platforms & others said dont apply others dmat a/c to your UPI id. But recently I applied my frnd dmat a/c with my upi id and i got APTUS ipo allotment. but we have apply only one upi id for one demat a/c. dont use one upi id for more than one dmat a/c. I think u understand.
Looking at a couple of IPOs where listing is more than 100%, then goes to 200%/300% in a few days like Ami. In this case too, it can easily go to 3X it''s IPO price on the same day.
So, my question is, are these IPO lead managers undervalue these kind of IPOs while deciding the base price OR are they are so "kind" to put "too much on the table" for retailers? Or is it just IPO euphoria driving this insane P/E values without not so strong fundamentals that can justice the stock price value.
I am sure IPO lead managers would be badly scratching their heads looking at the GMP of paras, they would be thinking that even if we would have decided IPO price around 275, they could have got huge chunk of profits!!
sorry for an off the topic query...but if anyone can give some insight over FRESHWORKS IPO thats going to list on bourses at NASDAQ today. its one of the biggest hit ipo by an Indian in USA. The ipo wa sofffered at a price range of 36-38 usd per share
I am 1st time tendering in buyback. Trying to apply via Upstox- corporate actions for Star Cement buyback. But getting error "PRICE MUST BE BETWEEN 150 AND ".
Only above error message comes everytime . Please help
While tendering the shares for buyback, the following points may be kept in view to avoid the possibility of hurdles. 1. The quantum of the shares tendered should not be more than the shares held on the record date. 2. The price quoted for the buyback while tendering should not be more than the price of the buyback. 3. Some brokering organisations like SBI SMART will accept the tendering of the shares for buyback only when there is sufficient balance of amount in the account for adjustment against the brokerage charges in this regard. If my above helps to at least some extent, the purpose of the posting is served. Thank you.
@KAMMA SIVA RAMA KRISHNA Sir, please help First time I am participating in Star Cement Buyback, I have account with HDFC Securities. I have 500 shares, I got entitlement for 63 shares. While tendering buyback I applied for all 500 shares. Sir, please tell is it right or I need to tender only 63 shares? I also received a form, do I also need to fill that form and mail them? Since I have already applied through internet. Thanks
Tendering of all the shares held on record date is always advantageous as there is a possibility of acceptance of more shares than the Entitlement. When you are tendering the shares through the online process, there is no need to submit the form physically. Thank you.
i am also facing the same problem, call the customer care and register your complain, i also registered the compaint. ho sakta he jyada complain milne se issue solve karde. hope for the best
I am as well getting same error in upstox. Previously i have tendered in upstox but did not face any issue. Probably they have done some upgrade and looks not properly tested. I have raised issue with customer care let''s see.
