@Lokes : MCF Ltd has lowest OPM & PAT among most Fertilizer companies. Zuari group have even pledged its 100% stake in MCF.
Share price too is laggard among most Fertilizer companies.
Zuari group have sold its loss making Goa unit to Pradeep phosphate which has lowest Ebitda/ton of 1500/ton whereas 4900-5400 for coromandel and Chambal.
Why we should finance this junk acquisition and that too from same promoter group? They are simply taking out money for selling loss making from past 3 years to PP and we are paying for that.
On the face of IPO it looks very cheap and wonderful IPO but when we dig down it has many dark facts and figures whether it is Debt&MF or past track record or criminal cases. Promoter hasn't made affordable offer but risky offer.
If I have to invest in Fertilizer company then there are few good companies available at decent valuation in secondary market.
