I don't think I have given POA, anyway I am aware of NSDL OTP authentication and that shall not be a problem.

I hope same process is to be followed while placing a sell order in special pre-open on listing day.

In Zerodha , Authorization will works for full day for all holdings.

You may do the Authorization from the Holding page at any time even before 9:00 AM. By default system will select all shares, if you want you can change but it is not required. After authorization you are allowed to sell your holding.

If you are not performing above mentioned pre authorization, it will prompt when you are trying to sell. I would suggest to perform a pre authorization as we can avoid delay in placing order at crucial time.

My first task is to perform Authorization after I login zerodha. This authorization can be avoid with POA.

Zerodha is on CDSL and you can generate T-pin(If POA not given while opening account) anytime.
When you will end sell order before that you need to enter T-Pin and OTP(once entered it will be valid for a day).
You can generate T-Pin now also by entering BO ID(16 digit number) & PAN number and save it , it will work for your all sell order.

Mera bhi 7 years se Zerodha mai Demet account upi through ICICI. You can sell direct zerodha

I usually authorise at 8 AM for sale on Kite. After 8 AM today you can authorize. All the shares I your Zerodha will be authorised for the day.

Aap Zerodha me TOTP enabled kr sakte ho..
Iska fayda ye he ki Aapko har din Authorize nahi krna padega or aap ASM/GSM category vale shares bhi buy kr sakte ho...

Iske liye aapko Google Authentication app download krna pdega Or Zerodha me TOTP option enable krna padega..
