In sHNI also it will be lottery . So one may or may not allocate share.
In retail 1 lot and in sHNI 14 lots if the bidder is lucky , there is no sure allocation after new HNI rules for good IPOs.

@Ravu, I know this that is why it is so difficult to realize which bid as sHNI is better than retail in terms of ratio and sHNI allotment is much better.

Good company with reasonable price. Listing gain expected. Nothing outstanding can be expected as inspite of increasing demand, the sector is subject to Govt intervention and different compliances.

Dilip Davda sir has given a medium to long term subscribe rating...

My question is: if this stock is a portfolio stock, long term (2+yrs) or a stock which can be sold at a reasonable profit in the short to medium term?

Has a decent dividend policy as well..

Had kept one lakh to buy a scooty , put it in the share market , now only nine thousand left , shall I buy a bicycle or wait for a four wheeler?

What is the science behind it...Pl explain

FV has very limited impact on the price of shares.
For example
Market capitalisation of company is 80,000
Option 1 company has 1000 shares of FV 10, market price comes to 80
Option 2 company has 10,000 shares of FV 1, market price comes to 8

FV should not be the criteria to reason whether the stock is right to buy.
The criteria should be valuation metrics and the worth of company among other things.

@ Admin have some suggestions.

Most of layman investors just see revenue growth, pat growth and asset.

I personally first watch cash flow is positive or negative and then check return on capital employed and then come to eps and pat. It's one suggestion to add cash flow figure of diff fin year. Especially cash flow from operation and return on cap emp figures. One should also see receivable figure trend....now a days books are crooked up easily, so in the interest of investors this stuff analysis is very important. All this stuff are not even known to so called analyst..only chartered accountant are known for analysing this stuff.

I checked the financials
revenue gre from 5183 crores to approx 6000 cr,
but profit grew from 223 to 662

How is that possible

Yes these number are very significant. But you should not interpret those numbers on absolute basis.
Example
I have 1000 at start of year and after investing in market I have 1200 at the end of year.
During the year, I purchased shares multiple times from my 1000 Rs and sold them numerous times. My sum of total individual purchases is 8000 and that of sale is 8200.
Likewise the company purchased numerous times and sold numerous times. And hence those exorbitant figures.

To prove the above case one can check investment in mutual funds and see company invest majority in “ultra short term funds”. And total investment in mutual funds stood at Rs. 650 cr as at 31st December 2021.

Now, why management is dabbling with borrowed money?
Even I am not sure about this because 650cr is a significant amount for a company whose profit is ~400cr and is coming with an IPO in which it is raising 1000cr from fresh issue.
The one reason is when idle funds are there with the company they want to earn returns on it, but in the current scenario 650cr is too much.

Very tough allotment here.

If lic goes in discount, then here gmp may shatter badly due to lack of demand here also.

Does anyone know about overdraft facility for salary if yes how much do they offer at Max ? At what perceny?

I think this issue is the best amongst the current lot.
Financials are good, the company is an erstwhile Birla group company, PE ratio and Book values are all reasonable.
the company has a consistent track record of profitability .
Demand for their product will always remain.
The only drawback- why is there no GMP on the issue.
