Is it so ? Only people having account in HDFC securities can apply thru HDFC Bank IPO Link ? If so, then why they are asking for DP Id and DP Name ? It should automatically come as HDFC Bank as DP Name and DP Id of HDFC Bank. I hv demat account with Karvy only and if it will not happen, i will apply thru SBI-ASBA.

did u have trading account with HDFC securities ?, coz m not able to apply though HDFC ASBA bcoz m having trading account with Angel Broking, only trading account with HDFC securities are allowed to use HFDC ASBA. regarding DP name u can write short form. Thanks

Can anybody help me- in HDFC Bank IPO Application, the site is asking for DP Name and in my case it is 'Karvy Stock Broking Limited', but the space provided for allow me to write upto 'karvy stoc'. Shall I write the same 'karvy stoc' or I shall write 'KSBL' as short form ? Anybody having idea in HDFC Bank/HDFC Securities ? Earlier I applied thru SBI and it was not asking for any DP Name.

I refer to your messages on Jan 22 and Jan 23, 2011, taking exception to quite some boarders wishing Sreedhar many happy returns of the day on his birthday today and join them myself. Your objection is not in good taste. Boarders have greeted Sreedhar, because many of them feel that they have benefitted from his expertise on IPO matters and his sincere efforts to guide investors by sharing his knowledge with them freely and without any obligation. If they wish him because of this reason, what is there for either of you to object?

Such well deserved sentiments help to considerably improve fellowship and sharing among boarders and should be encouraged for that reason.

I myself published what has been acknowledged as a well researched paper titled "Are Retail Investors waking up?" in the 1st Jan 2011 issue of "Business Standard".

Knowledge, well researched, must be shared. This is what Sreedhar has been doing for quite some time. Strenghten his efforts.

Members of MAS (Mutual Appreciation Society) are increasing day by day; so postings addressed to specific Boarders are also finding place herein. Further postings relating to forthcoming IPOs/FPOs for which separate "pages" are not created and some times even secondary market trading matters are discussed. The net result is that when we choose a particular IPO, we have to "search" for postings relating to the particular Issue. The Administrator is requested to do the needful, perhaps by creating a separate "page" with title "MAS" and take such other measures as may be considered feasible

Yes, you can apply for, just give the Dp account number of Religare and apply...

I have demate account in Religare and saving account in HDFC BANK. May i apply online ipo through HDFC ASBA?
