AFAIK, no, u shud have applied for cutoff price( which is nothing but upper brand while applying).. To me, cut-offprice is the safe bet.

Dear Friends,
Can some one please tell what happens if I apply at the upper band and issue price is fixed some where in between? DO they allocate me at Upper band or at the Issue Price?

What are the chances for the allotment.

RelianceMoney Review - SUBSCRIBE

The Peer group comparison and valuation reflects that the Omaxe has priced the issue at a discount to its peers. At the price band of Rs.265 – 310 the stock is available a t EV / Sq. ft of Rs. 434 and at P/E of 18.61 (at upper band). The valuation discount goes well with the current market scenario where some of the real estate companies are quoting at huge premium. Taking in to consideration the sector in which the company operates and the current market scenario, we recommend our investors to SUBSCRIBE to the issue from a long term view.

Omaxe and hdil both have been priced at P/E IN RANGE BETWEN 18-21. i THINK BOTH HDIL AND oMAXE WOULD BE EXCELLENT TO BUY even if one buy from secondary market they will be in more profits. Apply in Omaxe its excellent and already real estate stocks are going to fire in coming time as foreign investors are finding Indian Real estate story great and think it will apprecaite maximum. If u see according to me here is the order in which one should buy construction stocks.
1) DLF People holding it may become millionaire in few years
2) Unitech
3) Parsvnath developers .Buy this stock.Huge expansion plans
4) Sobha developers--- Lot of appreciation left .buy has commercial property rising in south
5) HDIL -- PROFITS ABOVE 500 CRORE. Great stock to buy on listing too.remember keep accumualting
Next league comes Omaxe,purvankra,ivrcl .

See the below factos;
1. Your current % of investment in the sector (realestate)
2. Either you wanted to go for shortterm/longterm
3. Return for the invested total amount
4. Factors affecting the sector
5. Growth factor for the sector, if going for longterm

For shortterm investors:
I dont think you'll gain much. Even if you apply for 1lakh, ie. full qty, it's going to be overscribed and you'll get less than 50shares. So, not much you can gain with either IVR/Omaxe.

For longterm investors:
Omaxe seems a good IPO for longterm. IVR is also comming and Central Bank is also comming. But, if one had already invested in DLF which is already turning around the market and going to go to the top 3-5 valued co. ahead of Infosys/TCS in few weeks/months, Omaxe & IVR also will do.

Leave the company. When you see Realestate market, btoh Omaxe & IVR are concentrating on IT Parks, highclass residencial and commercial places, both will do good. But, it depends on your current investment also. If you've already more than 25-30% in realestate, i would say dont go for it. If Govt put some cruked restriction, it would affect in longterm. Spice, Central Bank is also comming with less price. Already Spice is in talks with Idea. AT&T is planning to buy some telecom company in India. So, it's better to invest in Spice (in secondary mkt on listing date) & Central Bank which are less priced compared to IVR/Omaxe. Even if Overscribed by 10 times, Central Bank you can apply 900+ and you'll get 90 shares. But i think it'll get overscribed by 30-40times.

Guys,

This IPO is surely for longterm.....
Moreover the chances of getting allotment is very thin.
So no point in blocking the money for 3 weeks.

Thankx!!!

this ipo is mainly for long term . it will give only 30 % return on listing . not more than that . so apply for long term . this ipo will subscribed 60 to 70 times on the last day . so chance of getting it is not sure aftr application

i suppose its very very good for listing gains too. I suppose we can get listing gains around 70% if it is priced at higher end.
