This will most likely list in discount or very marginal premium. Just remember what happened to Ashoka Buildcon. Even after much better subscription, it went below it's issue price within minutes after listing. If one gets Oberoi Realty betwwen 230-235 tomorrow, it will give good opportunity for intraday.

S P TULSIAN: Dont believe him ....
Reasons:-
1.as he said Cantabil Retail was exellent priced but it was discounted to 20%.
2.Va Tech Wabag, he said that it was expensive and would be discount to 20% but result was INVERSE and Premium was 30%.

Dont Belive SP TULSIAN's view about Oberio Realty. Its Good Fundametal Company with Target of Rs 400 by March 11.

people who use their brain very well now that 100% it will go below issue price on listing.

Reasons
1)very large issue
2)no demand from Non INst and retail
3) All real estate stocks have been laggard so no reason to buy this stock.

iska bhi kal band bajne wala hai and same ramky infra wala haal hone wala hai.
sptulsian is right exit at 240-250 if get a chance which is very less.

This clearly indicates Oberoi will go above the issue price. This is a safe investment.

Real Estate: Building Momentum – Technical View

Technically, Real estate index has been a laggard. In this note, we have covered Indiabulls Real Estate, DLF and Peninsula Land which is likely to do well as the positive momentum accentuate the market.

Mumbai based real estate company Oberoi Realty will list its equity shares on exchanges on October 20, 2010. It has fixed an IPO price at Rs 260 a share, at the higher end of price band of Rs 253-260 a share.

There were reports that the grey market premium stood at around Rs 10 a share. However, Investment Advisor, SP Tulsian said Oberoi Realty was highly priced issue. He expects the listing price around Rs 250.

According to him, the fair value of Oberoi Realty stands at Rs 200 while the issue price is at Rs 260 a share.

The issue was opened for subscription during the period of October 6 to October 8 wherein it got subscribed 12.13 times. QIBs' reserved portion got subscribed 21.9850 times while non-institutional investors (NIIs) reserved portion was subscribed 3.5226 times

Retail investors received full allotment of equity shares as their reserved portion was subscribed 0.9105 times. The total number of equity shares allotted in retail category was 1,06,89,600 shares to 44,931 successful applicants. The under subscribed portion was carried over to QIBs and NIIs.

Oberoi raised Rs 1028.61 crore via offering of 395.62 lakh equity shares. Issue proceeds are proposed to be used for construction of ongoing projects and planned projects; acquisition of land or land development rights; and general corporate purposes.
