Positive cash flow, nil debt, a sound record of execution and presence in premium residential development are positives of OBEROI REALTY says Business Line, recommending investing at cut off.
The offer price band of Rs.253 to 260 discounts the expected consolidated per share earnings for FY 11 by 15 times placing it at a discount to similar sized peers.
The risks are a couple of litigations in some sites for which Rs.40 crores have been paid and using mixed models of developing large townships with residential and commercial projects, for which large tracts may not be easy to acquire in Mumbai.

Dear Friends,

Please dont get carried away and stay away from Oberoi IPO. Infact one should stay away from real estate IPOs. The promoters and merchant bankers know that this is the best time to come up with an IPO.

When DLF,Parsvnath,HDIL,Sobha all real estate are available at much below issue price what is the point o subscribe in this crap IPO.
Remember this is a large issue of 1000 crore plus and iwll have same fate as other real estate ipo that is discount of 20-30% on listing.
Godrej Properties was good because of cheap valuation and only 350 crore issue still it was vailable at same issue price on listing.

Stay Away my friends from the real estate ipo.market are going to touch 23000-24000 but real estate will still be a laggard.

I have almost 99% success in IPOs. My only wrong buy in Ipo was NHPC except that i have earned on all Ipos.That too i am positive in long run

better to apply for BS Transcomm IPO. there are lot of real estate ipos lined up.

Retailer not go for this ipo. Ipo size is very big & also gmp is very low Rs. 9-11 less than 5%. After subscription go down up to 3-5 and share listing end 10% loss so retailers be carefull. Do't apply.

What do these real estate people think we are fools??? to apply for this IPO. they want to loot 20% from each retail investor and share the money between promoter and MOrgan stanley.

TOO OVERPRICED AND EXPENSIVE. I would rather go for BS Transcomm. atleast it has a story and cheap valuation.

If sp tulsaini is not bullish then definitely go for this IPO; because sp tulsaini is always wrong.
last year he commented on 10 IPO and all comments was wrong.

If he says don't go then you should go
If he says go they avoid.

you are to bullish on obeori i do not think there is any steem left you can accept 10 to 15 % listing gains and cannot compare with godrej
godrej properties has vast land but oberai most of the properties have been sold and the price is already disconted i am wating for the review of sp tulsaini
he will also not be that bullish on oberai expect for listing gains
