I WILL TELL YOU REASON FOR LOW SUBSCRIPTION, PEOPLE DID NOT APPLY DUE TO BAD LISTING OF RAMKY AND ORIENT GREEN BUT LET ME TELL YOU DONT SPECULATE HERE OBEROI IS ONE OF THE BLUESHIP COMPANY OF MUMBAI IN REALITY MARKET AND DONT EVEN TALK ABOUT LISTING GAINS YOU HOLD IT FOR SOME TIME YOU MAY GET DOUBLE RETURNS OF YOUR INVESTMENT.

SAME HAPPED TO GLOBUS SPIRIT GOOD COMPANY LOW RETAIL PARTICIPATION AND MONEY IS DOUBLE IN 8 MONTHS.

PEOPLE SAVED MONEY FOR COAL INDIA MINIMUM ALLOTMENT IN FULL APPLICATION AND SOME LISTING GAINS AND I WOULD SAY PEOPLE APPLIED IN OBEROI WOULD GET THE MAXIMUM AT LISTING AND 100 ALLOTMENT. RETALIED MISSED THE AC BUS AND THEY WILL ALL COME IN NON AC BUS OF COAL. LITING ABOVE 300 IS CONFIRM.

I do not know if I am stuck. I applied full. Same thing happened with Cairn and Globus Spirit. But I had patience and made almost double in both.

oberoy has break record of 3 year suscription in realty mrkt.ENKAR investor are re cap.. sunderam.. icici .. foreigners ..godrej db etc are around 2/3 times .. this is 22 times ..means 22000 crore from QIB ..this gives strength our mind in bad listing of ramkey..shreedhar has made right study..he saw daring on his study.. Considering Real Estate Issue lot of investors have not applied full application. In anticipation of full allotment a mojority of retailers have applied in small quantity (like 4 to 6 lots).

It need to be mentioned that IPO was for 1000 cr. not 125 cr -150 crores kind. Similary three IPO listed on last day of closing of this IPO resulted in less risk appetite for the IPOs.

no wonder retail subscription is less.
for that matter, even the institutional participation is little.

after listing keep yourself invested.Next sector which will lead the Market is Realty sector. So, friends don't be panic on listing date.

SINCE THERE IS NO RETAIL SUBCRIBTION HARDLY ONE TIME I FEEL THAT THERE WILL BE LESS SELLERS AS MOST OF THE RETAILERS SELL ON DAY OF LISTING THOSE OF THE RETAIL WHO HAVE APPLIED WILL GET AT LEAST 5% OR EVEN MORE LISTING GAINS
I HAVE APPLIED FOR THIS ISSUE IN SMALL QUANTITY
SEEMS THAT PRICE WILL BETWEEN RS 253 TO 260 IS MY GUESS

271. srini. u r right that qib portion is heavily subscribed. in many cases it is found that they do not buy immediately on listing. they know that small investors will not have patience to wait and small investors mostly sell on listing.they will suck the small investors shares in discount and once that supply is over, the price may start to go up.recent listing of green power is an example wherein qib got the maximum shares and even then it got a bad listing.
