Those who are using the Nykaa products or Nykkaa online site , should apply , These are all HNI and high networth individuals . who can afford the costly products of Nykaa , and bear loss /profit on listing
I think this will be the first IPO where we are seeing the record number of negative comments and are going to see the record number of subscription also from retail..😅

Buy quality stock when they correct from their high level like Tcs, Deepak nitrite, hul etc in correction mode. You can also buy Nifty bees or junior bees share on every deep.
Dear board members, kindly share your thoughts and experiences:- Some friends comparing zomato with nykaa
-did someone has used it''s products and services? -how it''s quality? -does anyone visited it''s brands stores? -does it stands up with its products with other reputed brands available currently in India?
My point is,we all know zomato because we use it''s services more then one times
We can''t figure out real valuations just with no.of app. downloaded
Beauty and personal care, , Apparel and accessories are highly competitive business and it''s not unique business model comp.with zomato.
But
Yes,nykaa will benefit for first moved advantage.
Overall market is correcting from its high,
In conclusion I have no longer terms views,it can give you listing gain subject to the market condition
Disclosure- Sold my all applications in graymarket

Zomato was well established and popular name among most Indians before IPO came. Whereas Nykaa is little popular among higher and higher-middle income ladies. Still they have much potential to penetrate in middle income group.
Again as @Harit ji mentioned, its highly competitive business and I think most will agree with this. But this is also a fact that this decade is of digital business models.
Considering above facts current valuations are higher and may not give very good return in short term, may give moderate returns. It may go to sideways for 2-6 months if not go to negative.
Need to look next 1-2 quarters result and take decision for entry. Market will always give opportunity to enter at good levels.
What a pleasant way of placing the topic for discussion! Harit ji, I may be a kid to critically examine and to express my views. Yet, I think that I am eligible enough to appreciate your way of ………. .
It is not out of place to express my thanks n appreciation for the valuable n thought provoking views of Patel ji in this regard.
Really, the readers are fortunate enough to be blessed with the glorious contribution of so many gems which ultimately helps in gaining multiple dimensional knowledge thus in both learning n earning. I once again express my gratitude to you all. Thank you.
I''ve been ordering from Nykaa since it was a baby brand. There were limited brands available by then and I''ve seen how it grow. I can buy anything without fear of first copy products available on amazon for international brand. Their own product from skincare to makeup and nail paints all are amazing. Can only trust on Nykaa when comes to international luxury brands like MAC, Hudabeauty, Estee lauder, bobbi brown.
I have a Zerodha account which is linked to my UPI Id and my ICICI Bank Account. If I open two more Zerodha accounts for my parents having PAN & Aadhar, can I link them to My UPI Id and My ICICI Bank.

@avenue: they definitely need to have Bank accounts with their name for zerodha demat account opening. Your bank account can''t be mapped in their zerodha account. And regarding upi id, if you asking regarding ipo application, then third party upi applications are likely to be rejected so better use any bank asba which provides third party ipo applications like sbi, rbl, axis etc
@Lokes @ Arif.. Thanks for your reply. My parents do have bank account but I do not want to access their bank account. I want a simplest solution and will skip this idea if it involves applying from their bank account etc. I have heard people applying with 20-40 retail applications. I do not think that they apply by login to all individual 20-40 accounts separately? Also I overheard some discussions about one bank supporting upto 5 retails applications.
Please do tell if you know any simpler way to apply using family PAN and Adhaar without accessing their bank accounts.

@avenue: you are mixing up things.
One thing is account opening in zerodha or any other demat, For that, the person on whose PAN account is being open, he/she must have a bank account on his/her name which will be mapped to their zerodha demat account.
Second thing is ipo applying. For that purpose, as i said you can use any single bank (either yours or your parents) which provides third party application (supporting 5 retail applications from one bank account) like SBI, yes bank, axis bank, RBL bank , indusind bank etc for applying ipo for your parents also using their demat details.

Very very expensive. That too for one rupee face value, they are demanding Rs 1100+ . Simply they are taking full advantage of present market conditions that too loss making company. What happened Aditya Birla AMC. All investors together, make this IPO a most unsuccessful issue.

@Have Faith, if results are negative my strategy would be to exit 1 lot and hold another. Will give it a year to steady. If it doesn''t budge, I will book loss and move on the greener pastures.
Dear, retailers are holding about 78-80% of shares right now. If institutions come and buy, it may trigger uptrend in this stock and we have to wait for atleast a year or two.
@anirudh bro stop defending a lame stock cartrade is a big failure market almost railed 1500 points after listing of cartrade and small cap also outperformed but cartrade is almost 25% down from ipo price and volume also not looking very promising
I am saying that when institutional buyers come, they change the fortune of the company. As opposed to retailers, who sell with panic when there is even a little correction.
I am not defending because I am holding shares in my demat. Rather these startups can surprise (but may need some time)
By the way, I added 10 more of CarTrade to make it a total of 60 shares...

One noticable thing here is why lot size is of 12 shares when it can be 13 shares in a lot at this price, rarely we have seen less than 14k lot size in ipos
