It is great to see you as ipo Guru , after a long time comeback to see this site.

@lokes I am planning to apply this ipo through upstoxx upi and I haven''t done it before . I just have a doubt I have 4 bank a/c''s Indian Bank , Punjab ,dbs & axis but the transaction limit per upi is 25k & 20k in both psu banks. Will I be able to accept upi mandate of 1.2 lakh in any of the above four banks or is there any way to change the limits , please guide me

Upstox did not allow to apply sme ipo using UPI, as per recent sme experience. Not sure if they allow to apply for forthcoming sme.

You have to apply from your bank asba with upstox demat details.


Zerodha allows sme ipo application of 1 lot only or as per retail criteria.

About UPI transaction limit for IPO mandate limit is 2 lacs irrespective of normal bank UPI limit.

@spocks thanks for the reply and upstoxx has introduced recently from kotyark I guess , all nse sme ipo are there in upstoxx.

@arca: zerodha and uptox allows to apply for nse sme ipos (not bse sme ipo).
You can apply from there. Regarding bank limit for upi, i am not sure will that create problem, you can better ask your bank by calling or use axis bank upi id then or better apply using ASBA option from any bank.

I am not able to see Nupur in IPO list in Upstox, I am thinking of applying it through Upstox UPI. is it possible?

ya i will apply....if it goes too much in HNI then i will apply in retail only and will apply in HNI in medplus/data patterns. All options are there, will decide tomorrow.

If I apply two applications one is third party will both applications liable to rejection or only the third party because I have only 3 online net banking but four demats and I applying through 3 banks 1 each for 2 banks and another 2 from 1 bank ac

@arca: only third party ASBA was rejected obviously. Actual one (from same bank) will be valid and will be part of lottery.

Applying through zerodha will be valid here, as zerodha takes payment through upi. And last time the registrar cancelled third party application.

@gjy: yes in dmr, it was cancelled , bank doesnt matter, third party applications were not allotted with reason mentioned as "third party investment"

Yes it’s proportionate basis same as main board
But only difference is if retail portion is more than HNI, some of the HNI portion goes to Retail and vice versa ( I think), some one may confirm this

@ mavi.. i think u mistook his words in above question.. in sme we don''t get shares in praporsnate.. all we got in lot either 1 , 2 or 3 lots.

Thanks for making it clearer. I just meant its proportional on the basis of lots we applied. you are right, it will be allotted in lots not like main board where we get split shares.

if application is for 2 lot and issue is 4x, 2 out of 1 will get 1 lot in lottery.
if application is for 4 lot and issue is 4x, all will get 1 lot confirmed.
if application is for 8 lot and issue is 4x, all will get 2 lot confirmed.
Now real question.
if application is for 5 lot and issue is 4x, how many lot allotment? 1 or 2
if application is for 6 lot and issue is 4x, how many lot allotment? 1 or 2
if application is for 7 lot and issue is 4x, how many lot allotment? 1 or 2

@ avenue.. your assumption in first 3 equation is correct and in the remaining 3 also we will get one lot only.. nothing complicated here.

But the thing is from here on.. we r not going to discuss anything regarding sme in mainboard ipos page... @mravi @ lokes @dinesh @ avenue @ Gj @trueinfo and other members of hni club.. i humbly request u to take note of it.. n do revert me back dat either u agree with this or not.. I really don''t want to face stiff completion here in sme.. just like main board..

I am in sme since more than 5 years.
But I always 🤫🤐 on sme forum.
Sometimes we need to be selfish.
You have very valid concern, I support this 🙏.

But at other the side if we smell something wrong about sme then we should always post in respective sme page so that at least other people can also think before apply. This may help to avoid losses.

Yes, let''s discuss about sme in the respective page and refrain from giving free publicity to these IPOs.... As it is it''s very difficult to get allotment because of the small size, so lesser the competition, more the chances

@ Nurul, you are right. In fact, I was wondering as to why Nurul is posting SME info in mainboard IPO. But avoided making comment thinking that it might offend you. I am so glad you realized it so soon, hallmark of an intelligent person, I must say. I am totally with you on this.

Further, all respected HNIs, It''s not about being selfish only. Let''s not forget that any SME can be a big trap for typical retail investors with limited funds and they shouldn''t be lured in to it by any of our indiscreet information. So, a very good decision of limiting SME comments to SME board only.

I Agree wd you we will all will b ready to give red signals to each others , if there is any doubt of occuring loss in script or we smell something fishy.
@True info.. That was a silly mistake of mine and i realised it immediately.. and there is nothing like to get offend.. i guess anybody can make a mistake.. it''s human nature. I would always welcome you and others to get me corrected whenever its needed. And you had raised a very good point for d retailers or newbee to get trapped in a sme ipo.. Because not everyone is in condition to bear a loss of 25-40k in a single script unlike us. As I remember even a person like Aniket got dodge in macroline sme ipo.. and many people of this forum only burnt there fingers in macroline. So sme is always a risky bet and not everyone''s cup of tea.

I also request everyone not to open HNI thread in SME. It has become a highlight on this forum and we should avoid getting unnecessary attention. Let''s have usual individual discussions till we can manage.
Also I fully agree with Trueinfo that many retail investors can be trapped in SMEs especially after being frustrated of repeated no allotments in mainline IPOs. But looking at subscription figures, feels like words have already spread.

@noorul: Regarding your point, hope now you will understand my buyback point too where you raised your opinion, and buybacks performance are more directly impacted as per participation''s while ipo performance (listing) is not impacted at all and even improves as per participation but ya allotment chances gets tough. I am anyways always of the opinion to post respective things in respective forums only, whoever interested will go through anyways, else no need to shout out loud for everything in mainboard ipos.

@ avenue.. This subscription figure disturb my fund allocation.. n now i m in situation to choose only one in btwn Data pattern n nupur sme.. will decide on 3rd day as per subscription figure.. hni looks like crossing 25x.

I also feel delete facility atleast should b der.. n you hve made a mistake today.. by applying all ur fund in mapmyindia ipo.. you should had applied 390 lots for mapmyindia and 14 lots here in nupur.. dats makes equation 1 confirm in mapmy and left fair chances here in nupur. Nupur will give return dats my gut feeling..
Sme iops comments section most of d time filled by negativity.. i had notice in past.. and many sme gives higher return against all d odds.. One thing is sure which ever i choose in between these two.. i will apply in FF.. won''t split d fund.

@noorul You might be right abt this IPO giving a good return but I wasn''t convinced about the tall claims of new verticals. Reminds me of the times during the Infotech boom when a garment company could just add Infotech behind it''s name and become 10-100x of pre naming price 😂
I have made good money in sme ipos very less... One name I remember is One point one solutions... Made a good profit from just 1 lot applied in retail. Believed the marketing/hype and held on longer than necessary and exited with a lower profit than I could have. Burnt my hands on a few others after that and stopped sme ipos unless there is very strong conviction. In this case, its not there.

I should have kept some funds for data, but I didn''t have the free time today to track till 2.45 pm... So applied all in for Mappy.
