I also believe, in last two months, too many IPOs have been declared and people are now tired of discussing around IPOs a lot. I mean, people now just apply and wait for allotment. So discussions happen only around certain milestones or else forums remain silent

The main reason is non-allottment.

The active members in this Forum may not be more than 100.

Hence, allottees would be in single digit of such members.

I have got allotment long long back, and it is Block and Unblock game in my case.

For almost all issues there is huge demand, and fundamentals, quality of issue etc., have become irrelevant.

Hence, the participation from the members is very poor.

I want to open HDFC minor account but they said that minor account will link to parents PAN. So can i apply IPO from both parent and minor account? In this case PAN number remain one so application might get cancelled. Expert please suggests.

@Sanjubaba Minor account minor PAN can be linked provided you have minor PAN CARD. Problem with me HDFC doesn't allow netbanking for IPO for minor account. Otherwise HDFC is fine.

@Jay Vagheshwari Maa I have demet as well as saving account with HDFC account. Earlier when I am appliny IPO throgh net banking my pan card was default coming so I went to bank and request it and submitted minor's pan card copy and now minor pan card is coming when I am apply IPO through net banking.

Anyone idea that if I will get allotment then sell directly it or need to transfter parnet account.

Just a query - Those who maintain 5-6 or more Demat, are you also maintain 5-6 bank AC, different address, and 5-6 different mobile number, 5-6 email ID as well ??

But answer is. 1. if single persons ? No need different addresses and different mail ids and mobile numbers

2. For different people
Family members no need different addresses , use different mail ids
Different mobiles if they have ,if they don't have two mobile numbers enough for 5 to 6 demat accounts.

For multiple DEMAT accounts, unique PAN nos. and unique Bank Accounts are desirable. However addresses, phone number and email need not to be unique though some DP participants (like Zerodha) do not allow same phone number and email id. In case of ICICI Direct, phone number and email id uniqueness is not mandatory.

@Som mca Buddy 5 ,6 demat handling doesnt mean that the person is "forging" these accounts. It simply means that he is creating demat accounts in name of family members just for ipo purpose.

@Som mca At registrar level, only uniqueness of PAN and Bank Account are tallied. Third party bank application has been disallowed now. However address, email and phone number are prerogative of DP participants (zerodha, Groww, ICICI Direct etc). Suggest read my previous response once again.

@Som mca As of now, rules regarding PAN and Bank Ac are strict. Rules about Mob no, Email, Address are not that strict, but, sooner or later SEBI is going to look into that too, which will definitely help retail applicants..🙏🙏

For the sake of retailers, hope that day will come soon..

1. If 6 lots applied in one application, it is not a smart move as in oversubscribed issue, one lot application is good enough.
2. If 6 applications applied with singe PAN, all applications are liable to be rejected as multiple application with one PAN are not allowed
3. If you have applied 6 applications with 6 different PAN (self, family & friends), it is most prudent move and improve chances of allotment.
