Dear all who have applied in NMDC .Tighten your seat belts for a whacky ride.LIC subscribed to 8000 cr of the issue. As issue is subscribed 1.24 times It will be alloted 6500 cr of shares & It will not sell that.Out of remaining 3500 cr all HNIs shares & most of the retail will be sold.Nobody is there to absorb them at 300.Now we have to see who will absorb those shares and what rate.

nmdc response is very poor .a repeat of ntpc fpo.but kostak rate of 2000 per application is prevailing.so all applicants immly sell your applications as price can go to 280

NMDC FPO is very good for investor.Medium to Long term investor can appriciate very well. When I have invested in NMDC 4 years before at that time is traded in BSE "Z" group & physical of 100 shares lot at the prices of Rs.3500 per share after bonus & split it's cost come out at Rs.100(i.e.for 2 bonus shares for 1 held ,split from 10 to 1).I think at the Rs.285 to 320 is worht for investing after discount of 5 % for retail investor. It's is very BLUECHIP company DEBT FREE WITH RESERVE OF Rs.12000 cr apr.
on the equity of 396.32 cr.After some time I think NMDC came in SENSEX & NIFTY.

Arcelor Mittal has applied to the extent of 300 crores under QIB segment and the ramaining QIB subscription is mainly by LIC. FIIs have totally boycotted the issue. The issue will be priced at Rs.300 per share and retail price would be Rs.285 per share. Good for long term retail investors.

The biggest setup of NMDC when compared to REC is that the FII's have not shown much interest. But in REC on the lost day, they had subscribed 2 times.

This suggests NMDC follows NTPC route, than REC.

But hope for the best and sell on some profits.

HOW MUCH SUBSCRIBED FOR RETAIL.......??????
223. M Niranjan, Hyderabad |   Link |  Bookmark | March 12, 2010 6:28:05 PM
Retail Investors will get 5% discount. Annualised it is 60% return. It is the best. Downside it may not high risk. I think NMDC quotes nothing less than 350.
