I AM A STUDENT AND AS PER MY FRIENDS ADVICE I HAVE PUT ALL MY SAVINGS IN NMDC FPO.WHETHER I SHOLD SHORT SELL IT TODAY OR WAIT FOR ONE MONTH.PLEASE HELP SIR

Hi,

Monies have been deducted from my demat acccount for NMDC shares. The amount deducted is RS 79,800 against 280 shares @ Rs 285 per share.

This is part of BSE's notice reg. REC's listing:

"Trading Members may further note that Exchange vide notice no. 20080310-25 dated March 10, 2008 , had granted listing and trading permission for 858,660,000 equity shares of the company, which includes the equity shares offered through aforesaid FPO and hence no separate trading approval is required for the newly allocated equity shares."

It seems NMDC shares will be alloted once the share price falls below 285 or touches 285. This is a strategy to LOOT us. I will never apply for FPO in future.

When new shares are admitted for dealing by stock exchange then only credited to demat account

Dear all

ISIN number of old NMDC was INE584A01023.

ISIN number of new NMDC is INE584A01023.

allotment expected by today evening and check in your demat account and then u all will know that actually there is no difference between new and old shares.

Most of the messages say that FPO will get listed. How ridiculous. FPOs never get listed because isin of old and new shares are same. language written in the prospectus is of technical nature and listing of fpo means filing of certain documents to the ROC and the Stock Exchanges. Practically, as in the case of all earlier FPOs we can sell shares immediately they are credited to our demat account or even one day before allotment. (delivery is to done as per T+2 settlemt schedule.

So those who sold on tuesday will go for auction.
those who sold on thursday will get delivery and no auction.

However those who sold on thursday got rs. 310 per share but those who sell shares on friday will get little lesser arounfd 306, not a big difference

amount debited from my account today means i will get shares by tomorrow. Can i sell them today? if yes, how? plz reply esp GEM IPO. thanks...

This is FPO issue shares will be credited to DP when admitted for listing so please check when going to list on BSE AND NSE

@ trilok, auction and delivery are different but same as both are done by broker. Those who will opt delivery (that is they pay margin of short sell) have to buy shares at broker's will. Those who opt for auction again will stay on brokers will and time he/she/company may go for auction or re-purchase.
