Adani Power has actually commissioned only a fraction of the total generation capacity that it plans to set-up.

NHPC IPO offer price is at a very high PE multiple. The original plan to offer @ Rs.16 & thereby earnings have remained same, offer price has more than doubled.

If any fancied IPO hits market, grey market becomes active. Unofficial premium proved to be fairly accurate & investors (especially Gujarat) are always well-informed of the price at the time of IPO being open & this price plays a part in investors decision-making process.

There is rumour that for NHPC issue- for Rs.1 lakh application, applicant could have sold his entire allotment for Rs.4,000.

Investor applies for IPO in their name, there is informal understanding with the buyer that investor would sell the allotment on listing from investor's a/c, keep Rs.4,000 & pay the buyer the balance. In case stock lists at discount, buyer will pay the investor Rs.4,000 & take delivery of all shares.

Apparently, SEBI is not controlling the illegal deals in grey market.

Allotment will come tomorrow evening.... And it shall list on 31 Aug or 1st September.....Tightly hold your shares...Will give you very good returns in long term...Tgt 200 in 3 yrs...remember NTPC IPO was at 68 rs..3 yrs back..today its above 200.......

NHPC - Allotment + Application Status
In a fax message just received from our analyst in Mumbai, NHPC has finalized the allotment for retail individual Indian investors.
