This is to bring to your kind notice that my family members & friends in total 13 , had applied for 2625 shares in the NHPC IPO. The entire amount of RS 94500/- was debited from our respective bank a/cs on 14/8/09. The application was submitted at KARVY (Jatin das road KOLKATA branch office) on 11/8/09.
But to our great surprise we have not been allotted any shares in the ipo. As a matter of fact we should have been allotted 713 shares. You are requested to guide us as what we have to do now to solve the problem. These people at karvy kolkata say its contolled from Hyderabad,and when we call them up there they have no answer.,infact we have the xerox copy of the appl form as well OUR APPLICATION NOS ARE AS FOLLOWS-

NHPC IS GOOD INVESTMENT BUT MAY BE PAINFUL THIS YEAR AS THERE IS DEARTH OF WATER IN DAMS. EVEN PONG DAM , BHAKRA NANGAL, JAWAHARSAGAR ETC ARE FACING BIG WATER PROBLEMS. IN ABSENCE OF WATER NO NUCLEAR PLANT, HYDEL , THERMAL PLANT CAN OPERATE. MY ADVISE TO INVESTORS IS TO SELL ADANI & NHPC IF ALLOTTED.

i have applied 1400 share but I have not received any share

I had applied for 2625 shares of NHPC online through Indiabulls online IPO and i have not recd any allotment , my application no is 23341864.

Can anyone tell what could be the reason.

I have applied trough Relaince money. Till now i have not got my refund, I have applied for 2275 and got 618.

those who applied for 175 shares got shares through lottery and the ratio was 14:51. That means for every 51 application for 175 shares 14 application were alloted 175 shares and rest 37 application rejected

I applied for 1 lot through IPO Service of Online SBI quoting my SBI Cap demat account.
I got refund, without any allottment
PAN was corerct.
What may be the reason?

Well, this time online application of IPO (NHPC) was a nice experience. The application amount was in your account only. Only the actual amount got debited from you account the day of allocation, i.e. yesterday; I am not sure its ABAP or something else.
