You r right one can't say total retail subscription but one can easyly say total retail subscription at cut-off price. coz cut-off price only applied to retail one. calculation is already shown by abhijitapte 615 please check it.

Check NSE India Site (nseindia.com), employee quota is kept in a separate section Employee Reservation 41934350. I don't think it'll be part of the Retail Individual Investors category

624 Vikram, you are partially right.
But by same logic, even retail investors don't always bid at cut-off. And, to simplify calculations, it is a reasonable assumption to neglect these meagre numbers (both, Retail price bids and employee quota cut-off bids).

Sorry my dear Prakash 628 you cant say subscription for retail catogory allowed up to 8:00. Coz cut-off price only allowed for retail and its increase every five minute on NSE live demand graph.

1) Adani refund (by RTTGS) did not happen until 4pm today so they could not use the money to apply for NHPC, therefore the numbers are lower.

2) Nifty SGX closed 4530 i.e. 65points higher.

3) Direct Taxes Code Bill,2009 is a big hit

Can any body say me up to what time this subscription is updated???????
As per nse up to 9;00 Total (NSE+BSE) Retail at cut-off is 3.65. But NSE demand still increasing every five minut. last update for that is shown up to 9:45. So, is it upto 12:00?????????

Hi abhijitapte, your method is good but I think the cut-off bids also include the bids by the employees at cut-off price. So in retail it will not be 3.65 but bit less.
