Further, those retail investors who bid for the amount Rs.36 also is included in the price bid portion data. You may ask why a person should apply for Rs,36 instead of cut-off. You see the basis of allotment in case of Mahindra, they got more shares when compared to those who bid at cut-off, when Mahindra fixed the price at Rs.300 whereas the offer price maximum was Rs,320.
Hope you got it.

Plese do not give false hopes. As per prospectours,
the unsubscribed portion, if any, from the Equity Shares in the Employee Reservation Portion will be treated as part of the Net Issue and may be added to any category at the sole discretion of our Company and the Selling Shareholder in consultation with the BRLMs

I guess we need to see exactly how many shares were bid at each price starting from 31, 32....till 36 and then when the price is decided, suppose at 35 or 36, we should see the bids at 35 and 36, and then decide whether you will be alloted any share or not.

Sanjay, assuming 3.873 times retail subscription (at Rs 36 or cut-off), your chances or probability of getting 175 shares is about 77.46% = 3/3.873.
